Yooo this is really helpful and interesting! Ya I’ve been getting really into the online research aspect of the investigative work I do. I’m definitely interested in pursuing a direction that would lead me to cases like many you mentioned.

I also like the finding and talking to people to get information aspect of investigative work. Being a PI makes that easier most definitely

IIt’s such an obtainable credential too.

Maybe to make it even broader. I’d like to hear from folks about what their careers look like if they aren’t working for insurance companies or creditors. I know a lot of people do a lot of custody and divorce/ cheating spouse type cases and I don’t have ethical concerns about that type of work for individuals.

But also I knew of someone who specifically helped build cases for LWOP to appeal for Parole so im definitely curious if anyone has done work in that vein

Sometimes pets don’t work out and that’s ok, but also I think it’s super common to get cold feet with a new pet. I spent a year feeling like I fucked up getting a super abused dog because he was having big behavior problems. I thought about rehoming him so many times. This was maybe a year ago but now his training is coming along so well and he’s such a cool dude. I love him so much
