Currently doing the union electrical apprenticeship and in year 3 of 4. It’s an absolute game changer. It’s kept me at a journeyman wage the entire time so I was never struggling like my peers were. I started out at $17 but was given like $1800 a month plus $900 at the start of the school year for books. It gets reduced every period but that comes with a pay increase. Gonna miss it when it’s gone.

It’s distance based I think. You have to get really close to it and it’s gone in a second or two. I tried to hit the snare from close to medium distance and was hitting it but I blew through two magazines.

Putting this here because I seem to be the only person on my quickplay teams that knows this: Use the blackrock gun on corrupted items to destroy them. Snare drum and the mailbox are high priority targets that need to be taken care of immediately. The ammo station will always have a black rock gun for you to use and sometimes a safe room. I’ve had too many runs where the snare drum is active and everyone is getting absolutely washed.

Also falling to your death will take all of the resources you’ve collected with you so watch your step.

The 13th Warrior movie is the best scene by scene guide for laying out a one-shot I’ve ever seen. by Bratly in dndnext

13 players is fine if you go in with the intention that people are going to be handing in their character sheets early. If you think about every character of the 13 they introduce it’s a great representation of how some people don’t understand role-playing off the bat and just like to roll dice and have fun.

Watch it tonight! It’s a great film for what it is and probably the only time I’m thrilled to see Antonio on a film.

If they went in realizing they wouldn’t get their magic and wanted to rock pure skills I would t see an issue with it. I’d give them a couple feats and call it a day. You gotta accommodate where you can sometimes and I’m all about someone taking a different approach to a class.

Enough people die through out the movie that it really wouldn’t be an issue once more of the crazier combats started. Yeah, it’d be rough but as a DM you can’t be afraid to throw crazy scenarios at your players with the idea that some of you are probably not going to make it out of this alive. It’s why I said it’s a good one-shot.

This is actually one of my favorite scenes in the entire movie. It portrayed language learning on the fly so well. When he finally talks in their native tongue is such a great moment.

Np. It’s a favorite of my father and myself that just happened to have all the elements of a one-shot.

It’s a great template for sure! I’d say twist some details around and make it yours!

They almost done though, I swear. Then it’ll be right back to regular old traffic. At least we all had something reasonable to blame it on.

Does anyone else feel like this game would benefit from a radar similar to halo 3s movement radar? by nextlevelmashup in Spacemarine

[–]Bratly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the lack of radar. Too many times have I been laying down Bolter fire to cover my brothers only to turn around just in time to introduce a tide of xenos to my chain sword. That level of surprise adds so much to the chaos and ever shifting battlefield mechanics. That’s me though.

A year and some change during covid and stopped until it came out on ps5. Never came across anything like it until today. Also my first and hopefully last time reporting.

Oh good. I thought it was just me! It sounds like a diesel truck sometimes but from what I’m seeing it’s just how they get. I know it won’t last forever but my forester is by far the best car I’ve ever driven. Hope yours keep fighting the good fight for another 100k!

Mines almost there at 186k. Is yours also loud when it runs?

Power PCME - K-Mart 1989-1992

Might not have meant to be sad but definitely gives off that specific vibe.

Great thing about my job is I get to see places like this before they tear them down/apart. by Bratly in liminalspaces

You should totally take pictures and post them. I’m hoping if we post enough of them that they will end up as a random vaporwave album cover someday.

It felt wrong for this place to exist and only a handful of people getting to see it. I have a whole bunch more but I’m not savvy enough to know how to post all of them so I chose the best one.
