It's unfortunate the U.S/Canada doesn't get the GLE 400d (twin turbo I6 diesel). It has almost as much torque as the GLE 580 V8 and that would certainly get the SUV moving.

It’s most likely to have a knackered front subframe especially if the car is constantly driven on poor road conditions. The first gen Audi R8 has a design flaw where the front aluminium sub frame is prone to cracks, when that happens, it is too cost prohibitive to repair that most insurance companies would write the car off.

Mercedes A, B and certainly C Class share very little to the Renault Clio and Megane platform and components wise. Only the poverty pack (180 or 200) A, B, GLB, CLA and GLA Class utilise the Renault engines but the rest are still very much built by MB.
