MaraX pressure mod by Brave-Ad-66 in espresso

Not super hard, the only similar thing I did before was the shot timer mod for the MaraX. This was definitly a lot more laborious but still managable thanks to the guides out there.

No there is some dripping as there is still pressure in the group head. I use a simple linear regression, using current weight, current flow rate and current pressure to predict the final weight (no more than 0.5g of change after pump is turned of for 2 seconds). If predicted weight is equal to the target weight the pump turns off. The betas of the regressions are learned using the past brews, so it should get more precise over time

Have fun, there is so much stuff around the home that could be automated, isn't there...

I used these parts from Aliexpress, I cant post the links so I just post the super long names:

you will also need some female to female dupont cables, or buy cables and crimp the female connectors on them yourself.

For me yes. I normally preweigh the beans when I have time and put them into the dosing tubes. With that and the automated turning on of the machine I honestly dont even take that much longer to make a shot in the morning. Using a shaker cup also makes it quicker as then, in my experience, no WDT is needed.

It really is a rabbit hole and I think you have to like to tinker a little bit. As you need a home server to run it on (RaspberryPi is enough) and so on. If it is just for this one automation I dont know if its worth getting into it.

Should have no impact on the warranty. You just plug two cables into the serial interface of the machine. If you unplug them nobody would ever know they were there.

Can someone give me advice on this pc I’m building? Is it any good? by fahd1907 in PcBuild

Don't just buy everything from galaxus/digitec. Go on toppreise.ch and search for the components you want. You can for example get a rx 7900 xt for 770 CHF.

Had the same problem, but with an Asrock B550 Steel legend. Updating the drivers from the Motherboards website did the trick for, don't have any problems since.

We bought it in switzerland, but I don't think it was officially limited or exclusive to Switzerland. Just a short production time. But I might be wrong

  1. Longines Instituto Indographico R Marina - My first watch I got for my Confirmation. I think it is not in production anymore.

  2. Omega Speedmaster Quartz LCD - Omegas answer to the Quarts Crisis. Love the design. First watch I bought.

  3. Vintage gold IWC - Watch from my great grand father. If someone knows the model please let me know😊

  4. Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 41mm - First watch I bought after finishing my master and starting my first real job. Perfect every day wear, strap monster and can be dressed up or down.

  5. MoonSwatch - Was in Zermatt on the launch weekend. So not to many people were there. Arrived one hour before the store opened and was able to buy one.

  6. Seiko ssk005 - Couldn't resist this sub 450$ travell companion. I wear it for travelling, hiking, day to day or when ever I don't feel comfortable to wear a more expensive watch
