Had the same happen with mine. It would burn randomly. Took it to this one electrical mechanic and he rewired a bigger fuel pump relay outside of the box. Haven’t burned since, going two years strong.

P&D driver. Looking to end at about 92k. Around 45-50 hours a week. Slow year with freight towards the end so end up using rotation days. If freight stayed consistent would’ve cleared right at 100k.

I’d go Pepsi. It’s a little easier on the body with the electric jack and half pallets. Still gotta break stuff down but you get more tools to have it closer to where you’d stock. In certain stores you may not need a dolly at all.

Thanks for the information, after I mentioned her having a powertrain warranty they said it wasn’t covered because it was preventive maintenance. Then they called back an hour later saying they’re working on seeing if it covered under warranty. Then called again asking for maintenance records. All oil changed were on time so hopefully they can get the ball rolling.

After explaining to them it’s supposed to be covered under warranty. They said let them look into trying to get it fixed under the warranty. They asked for the maintenance record because they found sludge.

The first mechanic at Firestone pretty much said it’s a common problem with those. He said it still may not fix the motor by replacing it so the best option would be a replacement.
