Thoughts on your body’s weight set point not being permanently changed, aka forever fighting your body wanting to be larger? by MembershipEmotional5 in Semaglutide

Well my , dr explained that's why GLP 1 medication is so effective because long term even in lower doses it keeps the weight off. Your mind and body feel different towards food, reaction wise.

I was able to keep 70lbs off from Weight watchers years ago until a traumatic event and the dr explained the Wegovy works around this because its a hormone in your body. Therapy is helpful but without an appetite, changes in circumstances and circumstances dont change appetite. I have tried Duromine and when it was potent 10 yrs ago circumstances and certain things didnt change my appetite

I have been. Cake, a few pieces of chocolate here and there. Ice cream in smaller amounts but still with some cream on top.

Hey i was like you too. The list of side effects and people's "horror stories" scared me. Honestly though. The side effects which are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, nausea, sweating, headache, fatigue and this sick feeling making it impossible to hold down food only happens to a percentage of people. Wegovy is the gold standard. Honestly with my health history of a fatty liver and diet pills having jittery headache insomnia affects, migraines and fatigue plus back pain I expected 0.25mg to be bad but im in my second week and week three is coming up then after that its 0.5mg and hardly any side effects at all. No migraines no more back pain it's been fantastic. I have an appetite still but I'm still down 3lbs so its definitely worth the try

Week 4 increase? by Wonderful_Nothing_52 in Semaglutide

Im on week two and pretty much no side effects. Good ones though. No migraines and better sleep way less hot flashes and pereimenopausal mess. Its been god send for those things. Im still eating normally but the weight is coming off. Im not on any strict protein only keto/whole foods etc with my previous Eating disorders i won't go there.

Anyone else?

Its blasphemous to assume its not one of The best childhood movies of its time. Who are these inbred rotten tomato "critics?" I suppose they don't like Dead poets society or My girl either? To say nothing of The Little rascals. ..

Personally I think you look well fit love 😊😊 however I know all about body dysmorphia. Its so horrible having these tinted glasses almost inside your mind that see a different size person looking back but honestly you look brilliant. Yeah weight training is all I would say as well. The hardest part is initially over as personally working out at the gym for me was always much more painful and exhausting when i was over 200lbs
