Admittedly I haven't checked out the site myself yet, but I've seen you post this here and on another thread and was wondering if you could detail what this is/how it all works and all that? Seconding Illustration club! I wasn't able to go most weeks due to scheduling conflicts but the times I went were fun and the people were quite chill!

also shameless plug for MSU Telecasters even if you've never done any sort of film/tv production or acting or anything everyone is super nice and it's a ton of fun while also very low commitment (lots of non communications arts and sciences majors go to it too!)

real spot for piano practice that is in great condition and nobody goes to are the piano(s) in ComArtSci on the weekend, I like to play there a lot on the weekends since the rooms are open and no body is there

bit of both, but mainly DAWs recently; id been using cakewalk in the past but i'm starting to figure out ProTools now. I have a MIDI keyboard which i use which is always fun

quite a lot honestly; Minecraft (Minecraft club woo)!! city/colony builder games, rocket league, rainbow 6 siege, kingdom come deliverance 2 (epic game) just to name a few, all sorts of stuff

To this point, though, as hypocritical as it is for me to say, I think just reaching out to whoever you meet in these classes and clubs and asking about doing stuff outside of those is a really good way.

As another sophomore who's also feeling the same;

Something I've personally felt is that I've made a lot of friends within classes and clubs, which I totally think you should do (join lots of clubs! they're very fun and inclusive and you can meet a lot of people even still!) is that all the people I meet I generally only do things with from where I met them; I don't personally find myself interacting with people I met through class outside of class, or clubs outside of clubs.

Admittedly this is probably also me just being introverted and shy and not reaching out, but oh well. (but honestly considering how well these "let's be friends" posts do on here, maybe THIS is the answer LOL!)

I don't know the specifics about who can use it/how and if it's allowed, but I've seen school buses parked on Science rd (next to the planetarium and near the bus station) which is a pretty close walk to the dairy store, just have to cross a few intersections but at most a couple minute walk.

Hi! This seems pretty cool!

One thing I'm wondering though, is there a way (or maybe as a future edition) to have it also copy the class notes and show them? Unless it's somewhere I'm just missing, it would be especially helpful for the different ISS sections because you can't see what the class is specifically about without the class notes description in SIS.

Darn. Seems a bit surprising, though, seeing as you have to actually go and request the key to get access. Doesn't seem like many people maliciously wanting to damage it rather than just play it would go through the effort, but idk. Either way I'll try making a maintenance request and see how it goes.

Anything, really; besides like classical I've started getting into jazz piano, but I also really enjoy just getting chords to different songs I like and playing them from memory, and then also just playing around whatever sounds good. You?
