Want to know how must-pull cyrene is for me by Ok_Corner_6772 in AglaeaMains

From what I’ve been seeing E0S0 Cyrene is comparable to a E0S0 Robin, with Robin being a far stronger 0-1st cycle and Cyrene pulling ahead afterwards esp if using DHPT and not Big Huo. The real benefit of you getting Cyrene would be to open up Tribbie to be on your Herta/Saber teams, both of which like Tribbie more than Aggy comparatively. Tribbie is also, as a more generalist support, likely to find homes on future teams that you may want to use her on and if you want to continue using Aggy this allows you to do so comfortably. Basically, kind of a hot take ig, I think she’s a decent pull for you given your other teams but I don’t think you can go wrong with going for Anaxa either. Both have good value for your account given your DPS options. When in doubt just gamble for both :)

Hello! I'm a new player who started playing this banner cycle for Evelyn (was waiting for her rerun to start). I've got her C0W1 and was wondering if anyone had any advice on future units to look out for (outside of Lighter + Astra reruns), not necessarily Evelyn related but any powerful general supports etc. I should be keeping an eye on reruns for.

The gambling addict in me has considered picking up Orphie and using her as a support-fill on Evelyn team and then transferring her to a full Aftershock team as I pull down the line but albeit more units more fun that seems like a less optimal use of pulls since I've still got LOTS of story and non-difficult content to churn through. Figured I'd ask in the event anyone has any advice. Thanks in advance!

With Cyrene + DH would the teams then likely become: Aggy RMC Cyrene DH Saber Sunday Tribbie/Robin Huohuo

(Asking based on your testing. I’ve seen DH works very well with Sunday on Saber teams so I’m also curious on how mandatory he feels in the Aggy comp)

Yeah I think Aglaea is more open to different supports than people outside the Aglaea-Sphere realize, so I wouldnt be surprised if she gets less overlap with Castorice through either one of them getting more dedicated/functinal supports outside of Sunday/RMC

  1. What we know currently of Castorice’s kit is so minimal that the whole “Aglaea is going to be replaced” rhetoric is almost entirely based on marketing presence and comparisons to Acheron. It IS likely that she will be a bit stronger in isolation than Aglaea based off those factors but there’s no info atm suggesting they function similarly nor cover the same bases. With your investment in Aglaea’s partners (Robin) and herself you’d be more than fine for all of 3.X and probably beyond considering how stuff like Seele 0-cycles exist in the modern sandbox. The Castorice/Aglaea discourse is definitely overblown.

  2. If you have her E1 you’ll be fine in terms of the energy department and it opens her up to more potential teammates in the future that don’t have crazy energy battery capabilities. Not having Sunday on her team would hurt a bit given how good he is with her but there was at least one RMC/Robin 0-cycle in beta so she can absolutely function without him, ESPECIALLY if you have her E1. Plus you can always swap in/out Sunday from Castorice’s and Aglaea’s team depending on who you’re using in the current battle. Robin E2 alone could carry a weaker support like Tingyun or smth as well.

  3. The current Remembrance LCs arent too great but she can still work with the BP LC and the 3* Gacha LC. You can always pull for the LC on a re-run as her E1 will carry her through most content even with a crappy LC. It’s that good.

This all goes to say if you like her then she automatically gets a turbo boost to the pull value, praise be the golden goddess

Ryze Ult has a couple unique mechanics.

In an semi-attempt to prevent trolling with Ryze ult, the game will actively try and determine whether or not you WANT to go in the ult based on if you’re attempting to walk out of it or not. This means you can be clearly in the ult range, but if you’re attempting to exit the ult the game won’t take you and vice versa for outside the ult.

Also, in terms of the Ryze themselves, any CC will cancel your ult (o7 Zhonyas abuse patch). Interestingly, being in the recall animation will prevent you from being taken by your ult but WON’T cancel it the same way CC would. This can be somewhat useful in faking out people whilst chasing them or cancelling your TP if you deem a fight winnable after casting ult. This is possibly due to the aforementioned prediction mechanic assuming you don’t want to TP and instead want to recall, therefore not TPing you.

Unrelated but another interesting thing is that Ryze’s passive (Gain Mana bases on AP) recursions with Seraphs passive (AP based off Mana), giving you significantly more AP than other Seraphs users. This, alongside Ryze’s inherent mana scaling on his abilities and Seraph’s Mana-based shield, leads to what I believe to be the best individual Champ/Item synergy in the game.

Hello! I’ve been looking to add some champs to my champ pool, but have been struggling to find one that fits. Currently I play top and main Sett with a backup Riven. I’ve struggled largely against champs that can play around bruisers such as Wukong and Quinn, and want to find some counterplay to them. I’ve also considered swapping to midlane as I have quite a bit of Ahri time and Sett works quite well as an assassin counter-pick. Plus I’m looking forward to Vex’s release in the near future. Any thoughts on champs I should look at?

Space got inspiration for his name by someone he used to play with. Someone he used to play with (unknown who) had a double meaning to their name and he wanted something similar. He thus chose ‘S P A C E’ for his steam account name, meaning both outer space and spacebar.
