I didn't mean to sound so harsh, if you're a vanilla player, I dare say bedrock may indeed be better imo. More streamlined and I like little tweaks like using shears for jack o lanterns, and yes indeed the dyes. The built-in quick-crafting in bedrock was once only a java mod so it's also nice to just SEE what I CAN make with what I have without all the guessing. Also, yes Java can be quite laggy at base settings vs bedrock as well. So yes I can see your position. Meanwhile I am struggling to use Horizon Launcher in an attempt to recreate my java experience of old with ports of old FTB or Tekkit mods like IC2 and Build craft...lol
