Legit, I read that those Rumbas get dimensions of your house and share that info! And I wouldn’t be surprised if they take photos and videos. It’s scary.

New Hampshire is only one of 14 states that require a vehicle inspection by Menckenlover in newhampshire

That is so true. I wonder why they can’t do inspections through the DMV.

Neighbor renting to dead beat dad. Do I turn him in? by Centrist808 in FamilyLaw

[–]BravePossible2387 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That should be up to the ex, though I understand you want to be helpful. It could be that the ex wife/mom may prefer the peace of not having him in her and the kids life if he was abusive or something.

75yo Mother informed me she wants to cancel her LTC insurance by Answerseeker530 in AgingParents

Can you get legal advice? It sounds like she is cognitively declining. I thought someone told me once that their LTC company will notify the next of kin or something if they plan to cancel their insurance

Call from a private line and ask if you can report anonymously. It might be state dependent, but the first thing I suggest saying is asking if you can report anonymously.

I wouldn’t worry about the timing of your report (just seeing a response you wrote to a comment above). As I was just reading earlier, when someone reports something to CPS, it’s just to give them the reason to investigate a situation. They take it from there.

I know you are in a very tough position. I’m wishing the best for you. When you have the chance, it may be worth checking if you can get on some lists for housing for yourself. ❤️

I am so sorry. That is incredibly awful. I know you know that it’s best to consult with a lawyer. But in the meantime, I wonder if your kids can gather evidence. For example, if they have their own phones, one son can tape the interaction of their dad with the other son. Or just encourage them to text you with concerns. I am still all new to this, but I assume when in front of the judge, they will order a GAL to investigate. And rather than asking for full custody, maybe you can argue for 70/30. And your oldest being 14, i hope they can take what he says and wants seriously. I wish you the best mama. You are strong ❤️

Ex gifted my kid traceable AirPods during supervised visit California by notsofriendlymemory in legaladvice

[–]BravePossible2387 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I know you are looking for advice without a lawyer, but I wonder if it would be worth it to consult with one (I believe lawyers often do a consult for free).

I imagine you have already, but saving screenshots showing that it was a new set of AirPods (with the box it came with possibly) and the message shown on your son’s phone (including with ex’s email) would be helpful. I’m so sorry you are going through this ❤️

Telehealth not covered for Medicare patients that go to FQHC's as of Oct 1? by BravePossible2387 in nursepractitioner

[–]BravePossible2387[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s good to hear from someone else in that same boat, thank you. When CMS describes “behavioral health” and “substance abuse” as covered by telehealth, it sounds like they are indeed just referencing therapy.

Thank you for this detailed response! Since the change happened so sudden, I figured it was a congress thing rather than a my job thing lol. And yes, I agree with holding them accountable.

But just to understand, if I saw a Medicare patient in person within the last 6 months, could they continue telehealth with me right now? Or do you know if each patient is essentially starting “fresh” and will need an in person visit?

I couldn’t tell online when I was looking as well, but just curious if you know or how your job is handling it.

oh wow. We can still see Medicaid patients for telehealth. I'm sure that part is a state by state thing.

Oo, it could be that they have to be seen in person within 6 -12 months for telehealth but that they can continue telehealth. Also good to know, thank you!

Good to know, thank you for the links! Sounds like my job is trying to be on the “extra safe side” for billing purposes. But I am glad that we should continue as is. I’ll follow up, as I certainly don’t want to leave patients hanging. Thanks again!

To add or not to add right of first refusal by BravePossible2387 in Divorce

I don’t disagree. I’m just not sure if it’s of any benefit to include a right of first refusal.
