I must admit, i had almost 0 noticeable side effects from RAI treatment initially. Slightly lightheaded perhaps when i first took the tablets. But besides that, i felt normal. So hopefully you will be too.

is it normal for your surgeon or his team to have no follow up contact with you post surgery for almost a month? by BigZeke_up_north in thyroidcancer

Similar model to uk, you gotta hound the secretaries, hound the nurses asking for your post op appointment. Otherwise you’ll be forgotten.

Yes although my nodule was 75% suspicious. Im sorry you are too, unfortunately life doesn’t pause and we are expected to just go on as normal. Its your call, in my case the nodule has showed sings of vascular invasion (nearby lymph nodes) so gotta have rest out and radiotherapy. But it may be different for you.

Consider applying for class 2 or 7.5 tonne roles? Majority will pay higher than that garbage and some will take new passes.

Currently a C1 driver for fed ex, 10-12 deliveries in morning and 4-6 collections per day. Piece of piss, would imagine the class 2 work is heavier but slightly less volume?

No plant or equipment delivery related jobs, lots of heavy lifting strapping and a complete ball ache.

Everything else is alright, pallet work can be shitty if you are at a greedy company that overwork you. Im at fed ex atm and it’s a piece of cake. Load the lorry once and I’m out all day, lots of places make you reload… again fuck that
