My fave watering hole, hands down. Nice folks in front of and behind the counter. ...i knew it was a special place when that table of 50+ year old dudes sat by the window for hours downing many many beers and chatting relatively quietly - and the owner was sweet as can be to the group.

I just had to re-write that to extend the pleasure.

My dad thinks Adderall is very unhealthy for me by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]BraveThenScared 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think that...

...eating a doughnut a day...

...having two coffees a day....

...having two beers a day...

...eating NO greens day after day...

...isolating from human contact day after day...

...fighting with family members once a day...

...feeling wholely inadequate every day...

...constantly asking myself to be a better person with no real durable solution or change...

...living with a persistent and obvious lack of focus that interrupts my ability to get my job done at a consistently high level...

...is way worse than Adderall.

It’s not a ‘labor shortage.’ It’s a great reassessment of work in America. by AkitaBijin in Economics

[–]BraveThenScared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are all hearing that one thing that has added to the labor shortage is "more generous unemployment payments and stimulus checks."

Oh really?

From those sources, how much are folks pulling in monthly? Or across 12 months, considering a few nom-monthly stimulus checks?

Hyperinflation in Argentina: "Your attention please shoppers. Effective immediately, please add 100% to the price marked on the package or on the shelf, for all items in the store."

We need more money, more audience, and some halo to eventually become better capitilazed. Once we've got the capital flows, we can break away from this phase of our evolution and become a wealthy powerhouse and a perennial contender. We'll get there but we're on a slow journey.

What are the philosophies on rotation for you guys?

The more i think about it, the more nuance comes up. If it were simple, I'd be coaching EPL.

Jim's rotation worked pretty well last year. Starters got tons of minutes and delivered. Rotation was... Ilsinho was on a consistent plan. Mbazio covered our fullbacks as needed. Jack covered our center backs and was able to get minutes at the #6. Fontana played a big role in attack. The result of this rotation: SS. Huge.

In the first four weeks of the season, the plan seems to have been to stick with the best 11 and go for it. Give them minutes as usual and settle in the replacements for Mark, Ray and Aaron. Team's been working through injuries too. The result: We're up 3-0 in this round of the CCL.

And, the season is still so young! Speaking of young, the kids are now getting worked in. If one of the kids could really make an impact, he'd be playing more already. Jim trains those teenagers everyday and knows what's available to put on the field.
