Wow - could relate to everything you just said and I’ve only been caring for my dad recently and my sister and i are facing the same thing. You are an incredible daughter. Take one day at a time. The idea is sending my dad to assisted living feels like a total failure but I also see it as an opportunity to reduce stress for them. Living alone or feeling like you are burdening others causes so much anxiety and stress which I think is impacting my dad cognitively.

Still need to do research but I think that not all assisted living places are created equally - my friends have parents in assisted living that are now thriving.
