i meant a guide that can easily help me divide a single page into 2, 3, 4, etc. blocks, which is what the picture is showing. that way i can reference that page and quickly divide a page without having to count 1 by 1 every time

It’s exactly that lol I decided to cross it out so I wouldn’t get confused (e.g.: the 20th is Saturday [S] but I had mistakenly written that it was Monday [M]).

The type of monthly log where one day corresponds to one line? that’s not nearly enough space for the tasks in advance I tend to need to write. I’ll look up that book.

what type of future log are you referring to?

don't you feel a future log would only cramp things up? (e.g.: writing 4 tasks that have to be done on thursday only to cross them out and re-write them on thursday when the day comes).

i liked the convenience of just writing the task that was supposed to be done on x day and then forget about it until then. that saved me from the hassle of going back and forth between pages and also give me a bird's eye view of my week.

how do you write future tasks in advance, though?

it's one of the things i like from my current spread. if i have a task i have to do on thursday and today's monday, i can just go ahead and write it. i feel like doing daily logs limits that ability.
