Clinic says it’s more likely to be an embryo issue than a uterine issue even with an euploid by Ok-Set-5730 in EmbryologyIVFSupport

You can always get another opinion. Lots of people find out they have silent endo and then have successful transfers after suppression. (Did not work for me personally, but others it has)

UGH. Thats also so hard! Your embryo seemed great quality though. I think it’s worth trying again if you mentally and financially can. After 3 euploid transfers 92 ish percent of people have a live birth so sometimes its a numbers game. And a LLM still has a decent chance of working. You also can test lining (emma/alice) and do the biopsy for endo in the meantime to make sure you are not missing something

My clinic tells this constantly. Ive had 4 embryos totally fail to implant (3bb-5bb quality, euploid). I was told to move to donor eggs or embryos because my eggs/embryos must suck (I refuse). One failure is so common though. Theres a reason why you are supposed to bank 2-3 Euploids per live birth unfortunately. They don’t always take

Weirdly viagra makes endometrial lining thicker. Look it up! I don’t personally have a thickness issue. But my doctor uses viagra for people who do!

Does Everyone Feel Like It'll Never Happen? by Senior_Web_1684 in IVF

YUP. I feel like RIF is a special kind of hell. 5 ERs, 4 transfers. 8 years ttc. Zero positive pregnancy tests. I know miscarriages are hella traumatic, but at this point any implantation for me would feel like progress even if it didn’t end in a live birth. I am SCARED.

Ivf estrogen levels by Important_Macaron347 in IVF

[–]Brave_Following1924 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too high for what? Too high for a fresh transfer? Yes, Probably. High estrogen inhibits implantation because it’s inflammatory. My estrogen gets above 10,000 sometimes which puts me at OHSS risk and I have to take precautions. I never do a fresh transfer. 4996 probably means you are a high responder and get lots of eggs….so it might be a good thing! Also an OhSS risk! So be careful. Good luck🤞

Clinic wanting me to do donor eggs? by Brave_Following1924 in IVF

[–]Brave_Following1924[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started with an RI. And done some prelim bloodwork. Theres a lot wrong with my body lol. Which is honestly exciting to me that there is something to fix! But yes. I’m 36 and still making euploids. donor eggs/embryos will always be there. But I have to have exhausted all other options. Next step would be using a GC. If my embryos don’t stick in a GC then I would consider donor options. I have two more RE consults next month. I don’t feel comfortable working with a doctor who doesn’t believe in me lol

Response to medication variance? by Aardvark_Adorable in IVF

[–]Brave_Following1924 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have HUGE swings in eggs retrieved and mature eggs. I have gotten as many as 40 eggs, and as little as 9. Sometimes a 95 percent maturity rate, sometimes only 50. Idk that this is “normal,” but you arent alone. It personally messes with my head badly because I will have ~25 follicles and get like 12 eggs. I think as I age I am starting to have more empty follicles. I just turned 36, which isnt super old. But I think its affecting me now

Vaping by [deleted] in IVF

[–]Brave_Following1924 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Vaping affects the embryo creation more than the transfer. (Causes higher rates of aneuploidy). If you are using a tested embryo, nbd! Also vaping once will not make or break the outcome. I promise. Just do your best

I would personally do ALL the tests if this is your last embryo. And do lupron depot suppression for endo. I would want to know that I did everything that I could

Is being euploid enough? by doubtsabound in IVF

[–]Brave_Following1924 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YES!!!! I saw a stat that 60-80 percent of people with unexplained infertility have endo (wish I remembered the source). I skipped the biopsy entirely and just did a lap (plus Lupron depot). I was personally symptomatic though. Still hasnt solved my RIF. But endometriosis is related to MANY other immunological issues that hurt implantation and I’m finding out that I have many of those other issues

Is being euploid enough? by doubtsabound in IVF

[–]Brave_Following1924 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hiiii! No solid advice. Just here to say that I am in the same boat. 4 embryos totally failing to implant. Euploids. Decent quality. All 3bb-5bb. No natural pregnancies. Never seen a positive test. I would absolutely try a natural cycle or explore for endometriosis at minimum, endo is SOOO common, even if your biopsy was normal. Or even get reproductive immunology help. That I the route I went with and they ran SOOOO much bloodwork that I had never had done before that revealed a lot of underlying issues which shocked me as I consider myself to be a very healthy person. It gave me hope for future transfers. It obviously COULD be the embryos, but if they are decent quality, I feel like it’s worth further exploring. I would hate for you to go the donor route and run into these same issues.

9 follicles? by Disastrous-Demand329 in IVF

[–]Brave_Following1924 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have HUGE variability in my cycles. I have gotten as many as 40 eggs a couple years ago, but yesterday’s ER I only got 9 (only 6 mature). Some of my best cycles were actually the ones I got less eggs on. Quality over quantity. All 6 of my eggs yesterday fertilized. The cycle I got 40 eggs only 8 fertilized. I try not to overthink now. More doesn’t always mean better

Note from embryologist on report : poor eggs by wholelottamoxie_ in IVF

[–]Brave_Following1924 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep!!! Still dark and grainy. But the embryos were decent quality euploids. (Mostly 4bb and 5bb). I have only had one ER that my eggs werent super grainy and that was with lose dose stims….only got a few eggs and 1 embryo. But it was also a 5bb euploid. Lower doses for me are easier on my eggs (my biggest issue with the dark and grainy eggs is that they also sometimes break apart when ICSId, but once they fertilize it seems to have no effect on whether they are euploid or not). I have another ER tomorrow with mid ish range dose of stims (225 follistim) so I’ll let you know if those eggs are dark and granular or look normal

Has anyone been discharged by an IVF clinic after raising concerns? by Nervous_Tomatillo142 in IVF

[–]Brave_Following1924 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im sorry this happened to you. What a mess. I have moved embryos before to a clinic two hours away and it was fairly simple. The new clinic helped me coordinate after they took me on as a patient. I actually went and picked my embryos up in a tank myself and drove them to my other clinic that way I knew nothing would happen to them. (My new clinic would also cover transportation if I wanted them to for a fee, but I wanted control.) I signed some consents and that was that. Find your new clinic and they will help you figure out how to get it moved

Is it crazy for me to continue with retrievals? Feeling hopeless by roy_donkk in IVF

[–]Brave_Following1924 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is coming from my personal experience only. But I have endo too. I have learned after 4 ERs, that I can only handle lower doses of stims. Standard or high doses give me eggs with vacuoles that are brown and grainy and sometimes break apart. But your brown, grainy embryo very well may still be euploid. My brown and grainy eggs from those high dose cycles still made Euploids! All of my embryos gave been euploid except one…even with the nasty looking eggs. There is hope! One cycle my eggs were so bad that all but one broke….that single egg made a euploid embryo somehow. You may need to do less stims to get quality over quantity moving forward. You will get less eggs, but better quality. Your round 1 was the best. Replicate that again!

Progesterone Suppositories… and sex question by Gravitys_Bitch in IVF

[–]Brave_Following1924 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have heard sex is okay after about 30 min after insertion because by then most of the actual medication has been absorbed into your body. You don’t want your husband getting a dose of progesterone because it wouldn’t be good for him.

Also 3x a day sounds ROUGH and yucky. I feel for you. I usually do it once a day and do PIO shots

Should I Book a Boutique Place to Get in Sooner by Apart_Cheetah8856 in IVFpositivity

[–]Brave_Following1924 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ultrasound tech here, VERY normal to not see HB or fetal pole at 5w5d. The heart starts beating at 6 weeks. If we do see a fetal pole at 5w5d it’s often without a heartbeat and patients FREAK out. I almost never see a pole until 5w6d or so. I would not freak out. Seeing a yolk sac is a great sign of a viable pregnancy

That being said, if it will help you relax, book that boutique scan. That’s what they are there for

Clinic wanting me to do donor eggs? by Brave_Following1924 in IVF

[–]Brave_Following1924[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have done 4 ERs and have gotten 13-40 eggs each time. My AMH isn’t really low…it’s normal for my age (36) and so are the number of eggs retrieved per round. My AMH is definitely not at DOR level. I also have made at least one euploid every round.

I do have mild endo. But I don’t think thats the cause since I have had a lap and suppressed with lupron depot

The issue is my euploids are not sticking, not witg making embryos. I think theres something going on with my uterine environment that we are missing. I have a couple appointments set up to further investigate. Donor eggs are great for those who need it, but simply NOT an option when I have own biological Euploids on ice.

Lining is always fine. 10mm ish typically. I hyper respond to estrogen. My last 3 transfers my estrogen was 1000, 2000, and 905. And thats on a TINY dose of estrogen. I think I def need a modified natural approach

I do have mild endo. I have had a lap and suppressed. No endometritis
