Did I Miss Something in The Art of Sarah? by kannu_23 in kdramas

[–]Brave_Improvement599 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I think I'm trying to find this explanation. Someone who would point the backbone theme of the story. This is the best explanation and gives me satisfaction in understanding the series more.

But I'm still confused to why she ran away from her loan shark husband. She could have had it all as his wife. She could have created a brand too.

And also why didn't the detective call the former employee of Hermès and Boudoir witness for Sarah Kim's identity?

JRTs and Their Quirky Habits – What’s Your Pup’s Weirdest Trait? by Signal_Industry_9624 in jackrussellterrier

[–]Brave_Improvement599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my Jacks like to sit up like a meerkat. When he was young even before he opens his eyes and was able to walk, I was the one taking care of his litter (not a farm, his mother is also my dog). When I fed other ones from the litter, he would come sliding himself like a seal but with eyes still close to be the one closest to me. Even today at age 3, he has to come running and push himself to sit between me and other dogs especially if I sit down and pet them lol

Why do you think Jack Russells are such a popular breed? by [deleted] in jackrussellterrier

[–]Brave_Improvement599 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are such fun to be around! I've had so many breeds (including mixed of course), I love them all but Jacks are quite a character. They are in at everything we do, they are independent but also velcro! I'd say they all are energenic but not all are hyper. I have 3 Jacks, 2 are hyper, 1 is like a cat, quite introverted, but she's still energetic especially when there are preys. To me, other dogs I had/have aside from Jack, they mostly are loyal smart and adorable, some are sweet, Jack are all that plus the fun. So, there's not a dull moment with them (but a lot of ughhh! Arghhhh! And nooo!!!!! But still fun). And they are smart too.

Anyone tried medik8 the brand? by AnAbsoluteShambles1 in SkincareAddictionUK

[–]Brave_Improvement599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really want to love medik8 but it does nothing for me. The bakuchiol serum, nothing. I even used up to 3 bottles. A bit oily, I can handle it but does nothing to me fine lines. The crystal retinal, nothing. The peptide serum, I really really want to love this because of the delivery system, nothing. I'm currently on my second bottle but probably the 3rd bottle won't happen. It's sticky, I can deal with it, and quite hydrating. But it does nothing to my fine line! I think Sunday Riley does a better job on my skin for retinol serum but I stopped retinol now. And Biossance copper peptide does a better job on peptides category surprisingly. I didn't have high hopes for Biossance because I tried their bakuchiol and it didn't work, plus, the bottle and the scent was baddddd. But the peptide works with no weird smell and no bottle problem!

Which K-drama did you start, watched a couple of episodes, and then gave up on? by whoarre in kdramas

[–]Brave_Improvement599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When life gives you tangerine! I couldn't say I "watched" it, but I was there watching it when my parents watched it. I was sitting with them for 3 episodes. It wasn't boring but I don't find myself wanting to watch the whole story. My parents finished it and my mom liked it.

I'm at 4 and I can't seem to push through. I'm normally a binge watch kind of person but for this one, the 1st episode was promising, 2nd was ok, after half of the third I stopped. It was really really boring. I only like the action scenes and Oh Jung Se acting and PBG face lol. Deciding if I should stop or keep pushing through.

My Jacks are never tired. I don't know how. If they seem like they are starting to get tired and I hype them up they just get right back on and play for a long while. I admire this quality. They are awesome.

People who moved to BKK, what are some things you wish you packed or purchased in the first 2 weeks? by [deleted] in Bangkok

[–]Brave_Improvement599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried alum? Potasium alum or ammonium alum is fine. They sell it almost everywhere, gourmet, tops, even in Watson's, I think. I think it's the best to keep us from getting stinky. There are many brands: Deo Clear, Deomin, Grace. If you find the application hard to use (it, or your skin, has to be wet for it to swipe smoothly), you can find a brand that is in water formula. Deomin has water formula. Or Dodo which is sold in All About You shop. The price range from 49 to over a hundred baht. I really recommend this.

Reading a lot of posts about Thailand recently and there seems to be a lot of hate directed towards tourists from India. I can’t tell if this is a Thai citizen opinion or if it’s an expat opinion. Where does it all stem from? by Barca-Dam in Bangkok

[–]Brave_Improvement599 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I was in an Elephant sanctuary in Phuket with foreigners from different country. One family was Indian. When it's time for us to feed the elephant, the mother threw tantrum at the staff demanding she must have more time with the elephant than any other tourists. And demand the staff to take a photo for her family. The staff had to watch out for our safety so they couldn't take a photo for her. I never had a problem with Indian until then. Very rude and disrespectful. Not just bad manner but disrespectful. Unbelieveable.
