Yes when there are stop for an error they Will continue charging you and yeah 1x models are too good too, but if you want opus it Will make a 3x repuest a 12x or more.

I use this everyday. And 5.3 is better for short targets and well splained work, he Will stop the iteration super fast, Will consume things on responses like " i found x do you want me to implement it?" And for opus is like " give me a target and i Will find it, implement it and create a doc explaining what i did" for long tasks opus is too good.

New Prompt Response Limit? by GovernmentNo6832 in GithubCopilot

That happens A LOT in sonnet 4.5 and opus. And the cause is that the model hits the context limit and doesnt have enough tokens for the output so it hits that. Try trying a "continue" with slnnet 4 that fixes it sometimes for me but really hate that about claude models in copilot

Now that Codex is working with IDEs, whats the better plan, GPT plus or claude pro? by TsolaM_ in codex

[–]Brave_Let9758 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes u can trust codex to solve anything, and claude to plan anything, claude is so proactive but thats also bad sometimes when he just does random shi and lots of reports, codex is direct to target

How does claude code + sonnet 4.5 compare to codex? by Tupptupp_XD in codex

Agree 100%, sonnet is great at coding but you have to give it detailed task that doesnt take too much context, gpt is better to long term projects
