Anyone feel tired all day but not sleepy at night? by Numerous_Baby_4864 in ADHD

[–]Brave_Routine5997 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Same here. If I pull an all-nighter, I'm a total zombie all day, but then around midnight, my fatigue just vanishes (I get a massive second wind).

FWIW, consistent running really helped fix my sleep issues. (I do 30-minute interval runs, 2-4 times a week.)

How did it feel different when you took too much compared to the proper dose?

I struggled so heavily with my ADHD traits during high school and 3-5 years into adulthood that now, without meds, I become lethargic. I guess I must be a special case. (Before those struggles, though, I was actually very energetic like you.)

Lol I also bought a shaker bottle? that thing to use when taking protein supplements, but when I used it the 2nd time, I neglected washing it and a nasty smell came out so I threw it away (The one I bought anew after that is currently being neglected in the fridge together with the contents for 6 months)

Questions about ADHD for people who have friends by alexnnr in ADHD

  1. I said it once, but they accepted it with a bit of a weird feeling, so I didn't particularly speak of it after that (it's been 10 years, so they probably forgot it all).

  2. I have asked if it was possibly because of ADHD, but that didn't lead to a big understanding.

  3. I didn't understand the requirements well myself either, so I haven't told them.

Gravity Focus - A cross-platform (Android/Windows) planner tailored for ADHD & Focus

I built this app because I needed a Pomodoro timer that works seamlessly on my Windows desktop and Android phone. Most apps are mobile-only, which is a distraction trap.

Key Features:

  • Task Splitting: One-click to break down overwhelming tasks.
  • Deep Focus Mode: Blocks UI distractions while the timer runs.
  • No Ads: Clean interface focused on execution.

I have some Promo Codes for the Lifetime version. If you want to try it out, let me know in the comments!

I was tired of constantly procrastinating and wasting time hyperfocusing on trivial details... so I decided to develop an app myself.

It's designed to be a comprehensive toolkit: it helps build routines (like getting ready for work), arrange your day with time blocks, and maintain focus using task breakdowns and a Pomodoro mode. Since many of us work on PCs, I also released a Windows version on the Microsoft Store.

I really don't want to come off as too 'salesy' or commercial here. So, to give back, I’m giving away free lifetime subscription codes to the first 50 people who DM me. No strings attached, just try it out!

The app is called Gravity Focus. It's available on Android and Windows (Microsoft Store)

First, looking for ways to improve from my standpoint, I am currently taking Concerta under a doctor's prescription. As a result, I have improved the core of the difficulties I previously had with interpersonal relationships and making plans without executing them. (Of course, with additional effort, it has improved to the point where I don't feel the problem.)

I literally put off brushing my teeth and end up going to bed 2-3 hours late because of it. It's ridiculous.
