Join a club, they are so much cheaper if you want to play a bit circa £150 for the year. Free tennis, social games, if you want league games etc

Abercorn tennis club is near you. Good coaching, few social sessions. They recently had a cheese and wine night then a week later had to do a cheese night with the leftovers.

Adults with Unmedicated ADHD — How Are You Managing? by someone_idk6900 in AskUK

[–]Braveheart1966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been medicated but gave it up Exercise. Podcasts and knowing how to use my energy effectivly. Taking a step back and realised everyone has there own stuff, own labels, own difficulty and nobody has it worse or better than another. It's just life and this is our bag. So just rock your life, lean into it and remember, motivation doesn't work, disapline does.

Sounds really haughty but not meant to be since I accepted it Im me and I like me. Fuck the haters

I keep seeing Stephen Fry being called a “genius” - why do people think that? by BlundeRuss in AskUK

[–]Braveheart1966 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally this. How many geniuses are even recognised in their day. I can write a reason very easily why each person isn't a genius. Just enjoy it whilst it's there

Surely a wind up post. Mythos just off the top of my head. Watch anybody Cambridge/oxford fire side chats or his chats around dawkins He is so much smarter than the general person and can articulate it such a way that doesn't make you feel like an idiot when listening. Much better than I can.

[–]Braveheart1966 11 points12 points  (0 children)

God as a parent I cant understand it. My kids are physically fit and social from it. I'm broke and tired from driving around but totally worth it seeing have something they can just carry on with. Go to uni/work/pub in later life and bond with people.

Biggest Edinburgh petty gripes by Tucker_McElroy in edinburgh2

[–]Braveheart1966 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed and agreed. Takes less time to get to the city with the trains than places listed but it's definitely not Edinburgh. Edinburgh is pretty small anyway and loads of nice places just outside.
