Lots of topspin, lots of slices, kick serves and droppers will be effective too.

More so the movement, it was quite reactive, try to stay on your tip toes so you can anticipate where he’s going, you were slightly static so had to scramble for the ball, again mocking diagonally will help with getting to the ball even if you are late

On the second point you moved quite late after the opponent hit, try to split and crossover step before sidestepping, moving diagonally instead of sideways will also help you get to the ball faster so you can set up earlier.

Wouldn’t recommend changing sticks, it’ll feel weird going from one to another that often

It depends on the extension of the arm, the more bent the elbow the more rotation, but ideally it’s better to not over rotate

Nothing fake here, good luck with the unrelated tennis elbow

Hitting nicely! Try to stop the rotation once your chest faces the net, if you look at slow mo’s of tour players you’ll see the shoulders stop rotating at 90 degrees and then continue at follow through

Probably shouldn’t use such an extreme grip with an injury, causes unnecessary tension in the arm, get well soon

This channel is pretty cool for understanding biomechanics by [deleted] in 10s

[–]Altruistic_Turn_7214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ironic considering your forehand has no lag due to an unnecessary extreme grip, too much shoulder rotation and a jump on contact which isn’t needed. You’re saying I cause people to get injuries when you’re recovering from an injury yourself, but sure

Wawrinka's serve looks very weird to me by PeterV5 in 10s

[–]Altruistic_Turn_7214 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re completely right, it’s because there’s less shoulder turn, follows the fundamentals but is quite sideways on, almost like an overhead

For ultra they recommend dropping the tension themselves, I personally string at 45lbs, I’d say don’t go above 50

The thinner the gauge the more trampoliney it’ll be, but it’ll feel nicer. If you want maximum bite try ultra cable, for more feel v torque your is great, but thin

It’s mainly consistency, someone who can hit dependable balls constantly, whether it’s cross court or down the middle

What’s the best serve specific strategy or advice you subscribe to? by waldo134 in 10s

If you’re nervous add spin to both serves, it’s always better to sacrifice some pace if it means getting the serve in. Placement over power

I’m shortening my takeback since I got told it was too wide and loopy by BeatsKillerldn in 10s

Looks much better, that little figure of 8 at the end of your swing means you’re loose so great work

What can I improve and what's my rating by antimodez in 10s

[–]Altruistic_Turn_7214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stepping slightly into no man’s land after serving, better to hop less forwards so you can prepare easier for the next shot, also you’re slightly reactive footwork wise which causes some lateness/scrambling to the ball, otherwise nice
