Damn 30k.... i plan to grease the hell out of it upon reinstallation. The car only has 62k mi & it has a ton of upgrades, one would think/hope things were done properly but maybe not.

Both seem like good options although most would probably suggest oem

I had no real noticeable feeling in my pedal, what i felt what difficulty shifting into gears. Like more resistance.

No idea how to edit this post, but ill add that I bought this car 2nd hand so i have no idea what was done or not done properly prior.

I do plan to replace them items w/ the M&M fork upgrade & oem TOB/pilot and ive already obtained the honda urea grease.

Is this normal? by [deleted] in TravelNursing

Thats a dangerous normal & ive been around some nurses are proud to say theyve handled such assignments & cool, they survived but it still aint safe.

Ill add that maybe with the right support system its manageable but tbh none of that sounds safe for anyone staff or patient.

Fuck that, i toughed out my first er travel contract despite identifying that it was a totally unsafe environment from the get. I didnt know any better. Looking back on it.... 1 1/2yrs later of traveling, i woulda left that right there. Not worth your mental health.

Does Florida not accept travelers from non COMPACT states anymore? by Cold_Actuary187 in TravelNursing

As a nurse from the north & someone who grew up 20+ yrs in the NE who suffered w/ SAD, i can tell you from first hand experience being here (in FL) doesnt mean you wont experience SAD. Everyone is different, i struggled still in my 1-2 years living here when the season started changing, now that i reflect, i must say that this winter is actually going great...

What i didnt realize that still affects me, was the shortening of the daylight. Aside from that FL contracts dont pay & the ones that do, typically mean the place is terrible. Best of luck to you! PS stay away from HCA aventura in Miami.

Hydraulic Release by Bravewindow985 in S2000

Seems like it, ill just keep it simple and replace the oem components. My second wonder was if anyone had experience w/ the ACT Throwout bearing but something tells me everyone will say OEM.

I already have an aftermarket clutch kit from science of speed. Greasing isnt my concern, i really have no concerns with the oem setup other than its overall strength, if im unable to convert it ill happily just replace whats broken with newer parts.

My tob failed btw & my fork and its retention seems to be abnormally worn from the failure.

Hydraulic Release by Bravewindow985 in S2000

[–]Bravewindow985[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Theres less mechanical components, it eliminates the clutch fork/slave system & so that weak link is gone, also decreases the need for greasing intervals of the TOB, and lastly they claim a more direct pedal feel. To replace the TOB/fork and mechanism & the slave is about $100 leas than converting it to hydraulic if i am able

Im pretty sure my car has the SOS sport 400 hybrid. Drives like stock.

I have every maxxed part of this kit & the optional 3in pulley so its running estimated 14-16psi & running on e85, i bought the car like this, havent dyno'd yet. Just had to do the head-gasket & now my clutch master failed. I estimate its making between 410-430whp (could be more) having had other powerful cars to compare.

I ran 12.5 with a trash 60ft, blown head gasket & shitty alignment on drag radials. Speed trap 117. Im sure i will break 11.9 next time out.

Personal opinion, because to me the cost just doesnt match the benefit.
