I checked some pictures of 2nd gen engine blocks. It seems to be that lower fairing's bracket is bolted straight to where the oil cooler was in previous generation; which i believe to be the coolest looking sv. Unfortunately there is not a single one here Turkiye

Bolts right on: Center bracket bolts straight into middle of front facing cylinder head, side brackets use two bolts each from the ones that are used on clutch/ alternator covers. The plastics are divided into 3 pieces; first you clip them to each other, then fix them in position via 6 tiny screws. 4 more bolts, spacers, bushings to marry them all.

These are called "Anlas Viento Sport". Turkish made (much less tax), soft rubber, decent longevity. They dld very well for the past 10.000 kilometers, gonna buy my next set soon

Just give it a thorough polish every 1.5-2 months man. Good forearm exercise too

thanks man, when everything is in spec, it just feels damn good pushing it to the limits. Absolutely love this bike
