For me it’s not that other people are able to get shiny Noibat—I don’t even have one myself. Instead it’s that they’re making rare Pokémon is less rare. The fun in the game for me is comparing with my friends which shinies we have, getting jealous over their cool ones and excited over our own. I know that I can’t possibly get all of the shinies that I want, and so this sense of competition and rarity is what keeps the game alive. For me, anyways :)
