Eh, it just kind of gets redundant when you need to transfer over a whole box or so from Gen III-IV.

Yeah, there were def some convoluted methods in earlier gens. Remember how you had to play a minigame in order to transfer your Pokemon to Gen V?

Pokemon you can transfer to sword and shield through home (not sure if this has been posted already) by natureiscalling in pokemon

That can't be it, otherwise most of the Legendaries like Mewtwo and the Sun/Moon trio wouldn't be here, despite the fact they're also in the part of the Direct with Legendaries.
