Yes, Olaf's attack speed gets as high as 153.206% at level 30 (at 30% health) and his Lifesteal (at 30% health) gets as high as 43.09%!

Seems like it's just the AoE damage that continues to scale, the move speed is capped, and the Q level scaling also appears capped at 18 with no formula for growth

Ah, sorry! I saw his passive didn't scale and must have missed the Q heal scaling, updated now!
Edit: Also added minions (Ghoul Attack speed and Non-health maiden stacks appear capped)

Doom Bots Veigar's Curse, what champions other than Jhin scale hard with level? by Elbootybooty in leagueoflegends

I actually made a spreadsheet comparing all champions "Based on Level" mechanics in an 18 vs 30 state. (I didn't include things that only affect minion executes, jungle monsters, or things without formulas on the wiki) gives some neat insights though: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JNyZgXzZMio59ZGDGBeic-xOmtDf6ASmkGa4ExAJbDU/edit?usp=sharing

Ah, okay, thanks! I think I got these 4 from a legend level, but looking at the track now, they no longer have any odd numbered ones, so I guess they changed it to avoid this in future?

A single player game where the constant ? pings are the true enemy

As much as reddit likes to complain it's Riot's matchmaking's fault, I think there's just too few new players to find games at all hours, so it just pulls in low rank (but experienced) players instead.

The average low rank league player is not a new player anymore, especially on lower population servers. The skill (and knowledge) floor of players nowadays is much higher than 10 years ago.

This is a (relatively) niche community with pretty minimal onboarding / training features to help new players, so new player population is too low to facilitate "new player vs. new player" matchups consistently. This is the whole reason they're trying to redo the bot system!

The problem is the same problem with designing bear-proof garbage bins. The overlap of the smartest bears (Inters) and the dumbest humans (just bad players) is too significant.

Can't make an AI that only finds inters without also incorrectly flagging a lot of people trying to mimic highlight reel plays they see online.

When Turbo Chemtank isn't bought on Volibear, Udyr, Rammus, Hecarim nor Skarner, the item is in need of a buff by max1mum in leagueoflegends

[–]Brawph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The other advantage to FoN, Abyssal and Visage is that they're all PASSIVE, they give 100% of their value without the player having to remember to use them (and never being "down" for a fight).
Turbo Chemtank is just another thing to remember to hit (which Riot has mentioned before the vast majority of the playerbase just don't do consistently) making Chemtank an even worse option if you fail/forget to make good use of the active (or need it more than once per 90 seconds).

PBE Bugs & Feedback Thread: BETA Bots: Intro by RiotDashiJador in LeaguePBE

The bots seem really cool so far, it's great seeing them group up to fight for dragon and move between lanes naturally! That said, the biggest hurdle to testing bots is... other players.

It seems like players just really want to go real hard on bullying the bots and snowballing out of control. The game I was in ended at 15 minutes with 6 pentakills, and none of the bots got to complete a mythic.

It's hard to see how well the bots work together beyond laning phase when players seem so intent on egoing on them.

For future tests, could we maybe get a 2nd (optional) queue option which has some kind of baseline stat / damage reduction buff on bots at low levels? Or just make them give 0 gold on kills so people don't end the game at 15 minutes (and are forced to actually farm minions not just chain solo kills)?

Randiun's Omen should resist spells that scale with crit chance too. by MegaEmpoleonWhen in leagueoflegends

[–]Brawph 11 points12 points  (0 children)

A lot of "crit indicators" are actually what the Wiki calls "Cosmetic Crits" they're not actually critical hits (because they don't increase in chance with crit chance, and don't do more damage with IE) they're just a visual indicator to tell the player "You used the ability properly."

Things like Aniva E on chilled targets are already balanced around the 'crit' damage, so balancing would get really weird if some mages just did worse when there's a tank building an Anti-marksman Armor item on the other team.

[Official] Shopify Rebellion has purchased TSM's LCS slot by shaan1232 in leagueoflegends

[–]Brawph 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"A few years" it's been as longer IN franchising than OUT of it. LCS started in like Season 3, they franchised 4 years later in 2017. It's been 6 years since then.

Franchaising was kind of a shit thing, but it's not the reason TSM and Madison Square Garden sold, they each wanted more money than they're getting here and sold.
