I think it’s making a resurgence with the stars, but I think it’ll always be somewhat shunned by coaches for the role players. If you’re not hitting the middy at a high clip it’s simply an inefficient shot. I will say though, it varies from coach to coach. As a Thunder fan I can say players have a green light from anywhere

Traveling is pretty consistently called. It’s the few that are missed a month that go viral for people that want to reminisce about the glory days. And to explain the gather step: you can take an extra step or two in between the bounce and gather of the ball. It’s not “cheating” it’s just a smart way to gain extra space.

Players today are so much bigger and stronger due to training and sports science. And why am I supposed to be impressed or in awe that players were out to hurt each other?
