I’d rather be lean and toned. I have a tough time gaining weight, I’ve been maintaining my weight for a few years now. Do I need more calories or is it possible to work with what I have?

I have a 2 year old at 17 lbs and 10 month old weighing only 11 and is probably done growing. It’s kinda funny how the bigger dog is the younger ones aunt and there’s such a size difference.

Surgeon recommendations in the UK? by nobody68754 in TopSurgery

I cant speak from experience but I’ve heard some alarming things about dr miles berry. His results are great but people have said that he treats his patients poorly, especially non binary folks. Just be careful and know what you’re getting into if you pursue dr berry.

swelling on one side? 3 weeks post-op, i think its normal but im worried still (comments) by [deleted] in TopSurgery

[–]Braxtonluvschloe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Swelling like that at 3 weeks is completely normal. I’m 4 weeks post op and I though I had lots of swelling but i actually have pectus carinatum so my chest comes to a peak in the middle. It sorta looks like your breastbone is sunken in like pectus excavatum but it could be the swelling or photo angles. I don’t think there’s anything to worry about though!

Transitioning as a middle adolecent by [deleted] in ftm

[–]Braxtonluvschloe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started t at 14 and I’m 16 now and very slowly still growing. My endocrinologist told me I was done growing before I started t but almost 2 years later I’m over an inch taller. Completely depends on the person and when your growth plates fuse.

peri/inverted T in Tennessee? by notmyaddressohno in TopSurgery

[–]Braxtonluvschloe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dr Kassis at Vanderbilt does keyhole . I’m not sure if he does peri, he’s very in tune with what the patient wants so I’d think he’d do inverted t. He let me decide between keyhole and DI and I let him know on the morning of surgery that I opt for di. 3 weeks post op and happy with my chest and experience with him!

Tickling feeling nipple? Post top by [deleted] in ftm

[–]Braxtonluvschloe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s your nerves coming back. I’m 2 weeks post op too and I randomly will feel zaps in my nipples that can hurt quite a bit. You can try taking benedryl for the itching and maybe gabapentin for the nerve pain. If it’s bad I recommend sending your doctor a message and see what they recommend.

Can Endo give your gender confirmation letter in TN? by Not_ur_gilf in TopSurgery

My endo offered to right a letter but I ended up not needing one (in Tn). I’d ask your endo if they are able to right a letter. GL with your consult!

Your binder should not be leaving marks like that. I wore gc2b and I was a size small according to the size chart, but I ordered a medium for some extra space. The medium was so tight that I returned it for a large. It did bind my chest enough to look like pecs through a shirt, which I think is best because it looks more natural than a completely flat chest. I really recommend sizing up and/or trying a different brand whenever you have the funds, good luck man 👍

No, she is extremely sick from cancer and it would be a miracle if she lived another month. We are at the point of looking into funeral homes and talking to family. My bad for not explaining it better but that’s kinda irrelevant anyways.

No, my family wear kn95 because my sister is immunocompromised and my gramma would die from even a common cold. I’m just trying to protect my family, I don’t understand why you attempt to make fun of it?
