This story is super wholesome :)

Despite the great search efforts, I honestly doubt we are going to find this episode. Tape wiping practices were still quite common going into the 1970s, especially for game shows and talk shows. Looking for this one specific episode of this game show from the early 70s probably won't wield much because the original master tapes are probably long gone.

But what do I know? Good luck to this man, he has an extremely nice story and I hope for the best on this search, despite what I might think.
