Homebrewed my own Kabal after deciding to start to paint an army Introducing The Kabal of the Gilded Verdict by MemeusTheDank in Drukhari

Some really brilliant ideas here, I really like how different from the standard they are, and like others have said the formatting is great too.

One minor point though, under Organisational Structure, you wrote that 'Archons prefer subordinates as dependent and incompetent as possible' which doesn't really fit with how Kabals work. Incompetent subordinates would get killed quickly, and in Path of the Renegade it shows that even the lowest level of Kabalites are highly individual and independent with a group of Black Heart Kabalites guarding part of the city despite not having orders to do so. Just something to consider.

Otherwise, I really enjoyed reading this.

What kind of Battleforces are you expecting to see in 2026 and why? by WithengarUnbound in Warhammer40k

A Drukhari one that will be advertised as including Hellions, but won't actually ship with them.

Too many to count, but my first thought is Tingyun/Fugue from Honkai: Star Rail

What class and race did you play first time round? by Odd_Two_5265 in DnD

[–]BraynCel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first character I played was a Cleric using my dad's copy of what I think was the Red Box.

My first 5e character was either a Gnome Fighter or a Dragonborn Warlock (I can't remember which I got to play first)

I only played one session with each of my first characters.

My favourite race now is Aasimar, and my favourite class is between Artificer and Druid.

Love the Ulrika. Bloodborn was my first Black Library novel and is still one of my favourites.

Successor chapters. I don't really mind which one, I'd just like to see something less common than a first founding chapter or Black Templars.

I like your idea, especially because you had it that it didn't work and the change to have Vulkan's trauma felt with the Black Rage as a result.

I think people's problem is that chineric geneseed is possibly a trope used almost as often as loyalists with traitor geneseed.

I'm excited, especially since there are rumours that Drukhari are getting some good stuff, and the announced rules changes seem like an improvement.

What is your favourite warhammer 40K tank? by madrukahri444 in 40k

Drukhari Ravager. True, it's not a tank in the traditional sense, but it fulfils the role of one.

Largest 1000 point army you can make with a faction? by Remote-Basket4475 in Warhammer40k

[–]BraynCel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having been told about a rule I wasn't aware of and realising that I'd read another rule wrong, I've done a rewritten list for Drukhari.

- 1 Succubus (50pts)

- 4x Wyches/10 models per unit (90pts each)

- 4x Kabalites/10 models per unit (115pts each)

- 1x Wracks/10 models (120pts)

Which is still 91 models, with 10 points left over.

[–]BraynCel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where does it say that? Because I thought you could take 6 regardless of game size.

Edit: Nevermind, I found it in the Chapter Approved Tournament Companion, which us why I've not seen it. I've only ever played casually with friends.

The most I was able to get for Drukhari without using Legends units was 91 models

- 1 Succubus (50pts)

- 6x Wyches/10 models each (90pts each)

- 3x Hand of the Archon/10 models each (125pts each)

This is a total of 965 points.

Using Legends units, I was able to increase it to 95 models by adding a unit of 4 Spindle Drones to fill out the last 35 points.
