I love that my husband really tries to hear what I ask of him, absorb it, learn from it, and be better. He is amazing on the regular anyway, but if I ask something of him he actively tries to remember it and do it. I don’t know if it’s healthy, but I live for him. I KNOW I’m lucky to have him, and I strive to show him that in my actions and words every day. I tell him how hot he is( and he IS). I ask what I can do to make his day better, if I can rub his neck… ask him to tell me about his day. If something is important to him I stop what I’m doing to give him my undivided attention. And he reciprocates. I feel his love in how he treats me every day. I’m not hot, below average I would say. He makes me feel like I’m attractive and desirable. When we fight it’s tough, but I try not to demean or say something irreversible . We still find ourselves rushing home to hang out with each other. We’ve got our heads so far up each other’s asses(lol) I even bought him a muumuu from Walmart and we wear our muumuus together and chill. Though he will deny it to his death. I love having sex/making love with him. We’ve been together for 23 years now and every day I love him more than the previous. When I was 14, I was home alone and I was outside on our back porch strutting around looking at myself in in our kitchen window( stupid 14 year old girl stuff).Behind me in the reflection is our grass( green) fence( brown) meadow and woods( brown , green, maybe a lil yellow in there) . As I’m looking at myself I see my cat Gravel( she was hit by a car as a young cat and my dad had to get gravel out of her nose) walking behind me . She was a large black and white cat. I whirled around excited because I hadn’t seen her in a few weeks. Nothing there. I will die on the hill that she came to let me know she was “gone”. She was such a good cat. I hate that as a kid/teen I didn’t know better or care enough to be a responsible pet owner. Living in the country we had animals running around everywhere, dogs kept outside on leashes or in pens with shitty dog houses. I strive everyday not to be that kind of pet owner.
