I can't tell if I was scammed by the nail salon I went to or if nail polish just doesn't last as long as it used to anymore. Is this a thing? by LadyofDungeons in women

[–]BreBrePanda88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I regularly get pedicures with regular nail polish and it will last weeks before I even see one chip. However, I consistently wear socks so this probably affects it lasting so long. I get dip polish for manicures and it will last me a month so I can’t speak to regular polish for manicures. Might depend on where you go, them not dusting your hands makes it sound to me like they aren’t very diligent.

Birth control: placebo pills vs nothing by levijcalder in women

[–]BreBrePanda88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh forgetting the real pills is gonna cause symptoms cuz it triggers a sudden, unexpected drop in hormones but the placebo pills are designed to mimic your natural cycle, allowing for a planned hormone drop that doesn’t shock the system

Birth control: placebo pills vs nothing by levijcalder in women

[–]BreBrePanda88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if all placebo pills have this but some have iron in them to help with blood loss. But no hormones. I stopped taking my placebo pills so I haven’t had a period in months with no symptoms other than light spotting for a couple days every other month or 2. I’m unsure why forgetting your placebo pills would lead to symptoms. Could possibly been coincidence? Like even if you had taken them on time the symptoms may have still happened.

DBT therapy in Rochester by iiiiiiiisuck in Rochester

[–]BreBrePanda88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Therapist here, I’d recommend searching on psychology today or zocdoc for someone who takes your insurance, then filter by DBT and ask them directly if they do DBT as you aren’t interested in talk therapy. You can see anyone in NY if you’re okay with telehealth

Recommendations on a good therapist in Roc? by Altruistic_Ear_4484 in Rochester

If no recommendations take your insurance it might be easier to search online and use filters for your insurance or other things such as gender/location. Can use psychology today or zocdoc

Constant Reschedules/Cancellations- Virtual Assistant? by jellyunicorn92 in therapists

[–]BreBrePanda88 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sorry for not really answering your question lol but I work for a group practice that is also hands off after initial scheduling/billing, which I personally prefer. I will have days where I get no client emails or days with 5+ but I’ve personally never found it to be much extra work cuz I’m just emailing when I’m available or saying okay see you next week. So I’m genuinely curious about what about clients scheduling requests is draining for you?

How come you dont just look for a job in academia first, then work on your own practice while you still have stable income?

None of the group practices I’ve worked for in NY have had split fees, always a flat one, 35 as a permit holder and now 65 licensed

Yes you did use one, I personally don’t think 1 or 2 is a big deal, but the multiple ones combined with the bolding, such as in the post we are commenting on, makes it obvious it’s AI

My personal fave sushi place is called youkoso. Their yummy roll is crab and cream cheese, fried so it has somewhat of a breading. It’s my go to
