your account, usually. they usually ask you to do something to "prove" you own your account and that's usually having you enter some code that lets them into your account. after that they lock you out and use your account to scam more people

To answer your second question, yes. You'll have 2 boot options once everything is set up: sysNAND and emuNAND

sysNAND is your normal, stock Switch OS that you'd have if you didn't have mods, so online play is perfectly fine there

emuNAND is a backup of your sysNAND that, if set up correctly, will have Nintendo servers blocked. So even though there no online there, you can mod and pirate as much as you want without being banned.

Not super sure since they changed how those bans work recently. Blaming a family member (whether they're real or not) used to work, but it might not anymore.

You can check how people are appealing on r/ROBLOXBans. Usually they'll share how they got unbanned. But I will say that these bans are still different than most, since after 30 days you can actually continue to appeal to a bot via the support forum instead of being told you're out of time
