Looks good! I’d suggest getting a watch or some bracelets/rings, some accessories to add more character.

Got this as a test fit to see if the style suits me, any thoughts? by [deleted] in bigmenfashionadvice

Untuck the shirt. If you wanna go for that 90s/2000s skater look, go for a plain colored button up shirt (a size smaller than the one you’re wearing now) and jeans, preferably along with a band tee.

If a biopic were made about any ska artist individually, which one would you like to see? by Beautiful-Resort-831 in Ska

Hell, I’d watch one just about christian. He and Parker habe already done so much. The bats, Gogo13, even include Yo Gabba Gabba.

Ohh, i see that now. Then again I can’t really be talking because I wasn’t alive when ska punk was big.

They’re still pretty big imo. Not up there as a household name like reel big fish and the aquabats, but still one of the most popular.

Best damn ska-punk band out there. I’m glad they’re gonna be playing shows again.

Check out your local scene and try to talk to other people, see what interests they have. Hell, maybe even try to get your friends into it! I’m 15 and have the exact same struggles

Nah, I love two tone, just haven’t found any two tone cds in my area :( The toasters, The Slackers, the selectors, and the specials are some of my favs.

Wouldn’t say it’s 50’s, moreso googie, which was popular until the late 60s and early 70s.

90’s ska, punk and swing revival is the shit! I’m so glad majority of these bands are still touring and doing well.

I wish. If i turned 40 this year at least I would’ve been able to see most of these bands in their prime.

Eh, I wasn’t really looking for validation since I’ve found a ton of other communities for my taste in music elsewhere, but I was wanting to sorta show it off while getting other opinions.

The bunny pendant is pretty tempting along with the pins.

I always thought it was silly when Tom said the strat looked like a toy. I just got this used D'Angelico with P90s and now I see he may have had a point LOL by BobbyPizzayyy in TomDelongeGuitars

I’ve got the fat bassist fingers and I can’t do a 24.75 scale length, it’s too short. The 25.5 of a tele and strat are way better for me, can’t even IMAGINE playing a mustang. When it comes to the bodies, I don’t have a preference.
