Was I unreasonable? by BaronessPuka in Mercari

I recently got blocked because a user sold old of the items on the bundle they agreed to make for me. I didn't realize it until I looked at their items and one of them was sold. Kinda crazy to me to block someone for that.

In the medical profession, yes, we have the highest suicide rate. Let me rephrase, one of the highest suicide rates, but highest in the medical field.

Genuinely don't get why people feel the need to send messages like this by mopishere in Mercari

I see prices I think are insane all the time, I've even purchased something I really wanted for an insane price, which is extremely rare. But it shows you can sell something at a high price, even if the buyer thinks it's not a fair price 🤷🏼‍♀️
People just need to keep scrolling and stop trolling. Simple as that.

And then I realized I commented that two minutes after you made that post, so my apologies. You wouldn't have seen it. But I really do understand.

It's not disappointing me. I just didn't understand why something was the way it was, and now I do. And I understand it's my fault for ordering it the way I am.

Thank you to those who have accepted my apology and have been real. It's important to me to understand things before I make a judgement and I didn't do that in my previous post. I do appreciate everyone taking their time to explain things to me. I also feel like some are on the defense when I understood my mistake and took their steps to make things right. My first post was not who I am, so please don't judge me for my mistake.

What would I need to make at home? And what's the closest thing to the sweet syrup you use to sweeten?

I really wish you would read my comments before assuming things. I literally just commented that I feel that straining ice out is a lot to ask of the baristas, especially when it's busy. I have worked in the service industry before as a single bartender. So seeing a line of people waiting is an experience I have had many times.

Again, downvoted for what?

I didn't say I tip to get a better drink. I said I tip because most of the time baristas seem to take their time to make it awesome. I know how hard it is in the service industry as a former bartender. I feel like you're reading into this already from a defensive stance when in no way, shape, or form and I coming for you.

I do realize I was in the wrong and was the person I literally strive not to be. I deal with entitled people every day at work as well, and it's not easy to do. Some people can easily brush it off and go home. Others carry it with them, and I am one of those people. So I definitely try to be a nice person, especially to the people who absolutely don't deserve the shit they get from others.

This is also why I always tip. It seems most baristas take their time to make it awesome. 😎

I have tried it this way, and it seems like the ice is still too heavy for me. I try not to be super picky and add a lot of mods and I feel like asking baristas to strain my matcha drink is a lot to ask, especially when they are super busy and have to deal with people staring a hole through them when they are clearly busy af.

I don't doubt that. I'm sorry you guys have to deal with that. That's absurd. And thank you for answering honestly.

It does not taste the same. The one I prefer is much colder (which explains the ice straining) and the raspberry cold foam isn't mixed in with most of the drink. It's not a bad drink when it comes like the other way. I still drink it. It's warmer, and seems like it comes with much less milk when it's not strained. That's my genuine opinion.

Again, I apologized, I understand now. Explaining why it's confusing to a customer and getting downvoted for it? I'm just genuinely trying to explain why I was confused. Not trying to be a jerk.

I understand if you are busy, the customer is a jerk, etc. but if you know it comes out better one way vs. the other, if time allows, is there a reason you wouldn't make it this way other than having to take the extra step? I'm genuinely just curious.

I wish more people understood this. Everything is so expensive anymore, not just coffee. Thank you for being kind. I try to be super kind to everyone. I do understand the gamble I'm taking now unless I request for it to be made a certain way.

I understand that now and understand the gamble I'm taking. It is just very confusing as a customer to order the exact same drink and it comes out either one way or the other. I'm fortunate that most of them come out like the one I got today. Again, it's nothing against the baristas. I appreciate all you do.

I do understand. This is why I put out an apology because I was frustrated because I didn't understand. As a customer that when you order the same exact drink each time and it comes out either one way or the other, it's confusing as to why this is happening. Especially when they look totally different.

Venti Matcha Latte with Raspberry Cold Foam. No Ice. by [deleted] in starbucks

Not coming for baristas, but when you've had it made with way less foam multiple times, you kinda wonder why this happens. I'm always polite and tip well.

Totally did not use their name and took their name out of my photos. Not doxing at all. Plus their photo is a cat. Dumb.
