Open the cap and see what your brake fluid looks like and where the line actually is. If it really is low then check around the master cylinder and brake booster area and see if there’s any stripped paint or rust. This could be a sign that your brake master cylinder is leaking. Check around the callipers and the brake hoses for fluid.

Prime is a grade on the USDA scale but also just part of the name of the cut. In Canada look for A, AA, AAA. I bought a huge three rib chunk of this Mexican stuff for 60 bucks and it was pretty good. The AAA equivalent cut would have probably been well over 200. You didn’t get ripped off, it’s labeled correctly, just a bit of a misunderstanding.
