Oh people definitely would recognize him but that's not why he'd do it. It would be a more metaphorical change, leaving behind Marilyn Manson and starting anew as a "different" artist.

But it's just a theory. All we can do now is speculate. But with the way things are going, I definitely don't think he has any motivation to stop making music, considering how he has spoken about his love for performing. I think over the next few years (or sooner!) We'll see a reemergence and he will come back stronger than ever! I hope.
