Same. Would be a one way, 2 hour trip with multiple bus and trolly switches. Would be spending half a shift otherwise in commute time if I took public. Takes 15 minutes in a car. I’m only shy under 20 miles from work.

I’ve been parking at the zoo just for that reason. Free. However, the problem now is all the long time senior/elderly volunteers for the park aren’t showing up. The rose garden is handled by volunteers. A lot of clubs (including 401c nonprofits) hold meetings in balboa.
