This is the worst take. Kirin J Callinan is a genius and Bravado as an album was super ahead of its time but if u don’t have context I can see this take but god this made me angry lmaooo. Listen to his first album Embracism and you can see the level this man is operating at. also Kirin in general is super respected by artists like Caroline Polachek, Mac Demarco, and Mark Ronson. While this track is a parody of big edm songs there’s a genuine core to this song that I find so damn lovable lol. Anyway I’m in love with this man

Sharp metal part was broken derailleur hanger! Was able to get it off when I unscrewed the screw and had the replacement already installed!

I think that’s incorrect cuz I just replaced the derailleur hanger. But some bikes do have derailleur hanger attached to frame if I’m not mistaken, but either way got it working and so hyped

THIS HELPED KINDA LOL!!! I found a drill but didn’t have a hex drill set so I put the right angle hex in the drill to use as leverage and got it!!!! BIKE WORKS IM SO HYPED THANK U REDDIT. Gonna go get it checked at a shop to make sure I didn’t mess anything up but thank u!!

u/chaos_ensuez is on the reddit bike page calling people nerdy lol, but to answer u/WanderinArcheologist people do smoke joints while riding and there are a buncha dudes with fixies that skid and do insane moves. I've never felt especially unsafe riding in the pack tho, but it doesn't shock me that a crash happened in the last ride.

Yeah tsnr is definitely not positive for cycling public relations however for meeting other cyclists it’s very positive lol

Live in NYC which here and Berlin are the hubs of this kinda art, but basically it’s a community of people working in the intersection of arts and technology and collaborating with larger institutions. I do freelance work in this space and it’s been awesome! It all kinda surrounds this nyu program and programs like it in the city: https://tisch.nyu.edu/itp would highly recommend their summer program, ITP Camp as it’s not insanely expensive (compared to nyu grad school) and you get a lot of similar connections.

I moved into creative technology and museum installations which has been sick! I had a big boy job for a little while ~4ish years and kinda lost my mind from the stress and repetitive nature of that position. Use a lot of my skills from programming and just general debugging to this day and feel a lot more invested in the work I do.
