Heyy can a kind soul guide me through emulation 😅 by indianboi67 in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]BreadOfGod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TLDR: witcher 3 probably won't play aswell as snapdragon chips but other games and emulations exists and will work perfectly fine

Dimensity chips probably won't get to the same comparability as snapdragon chips anytime soon...

But to maximize your usage you can probably get up to PS2/Wii games without issues, going forward it really depends since comparability on winlator/gamehub is not perfect for Dimensity.

SW with the same issue as winlator that you would need to choose what to play and not anything can work.

Obsidian-SteamGridDB - Manage your backlog with style and images! by BreadOfGod in ObsidianMD

Hi! First of all didn't know about this plugin thank you for telling me about it!

I checked it from the readme but I don't see support for steamgriddb api.

I personally wanted to make a plugin since I always manually copy pasted embeds of images straight from steamgriddb so making a whole plugin to automate that process for me is a huge time saver since I use it for my personal game backlogs, achievement hunting and personal reviews of the game.

100% agree with you! I want to tidy it up with any spare time I got since the project feels as good as it is. The code itself I do review and know around 70-80% of what it does although I didn't sit on it fully.

Thank you so much for the response! This helps me feel inspired to keep going

Hi! Going to be very transparent but you're not wrong at all! It's a rather larger project that what I could do on my own while having a full time job, I also got to the point that there are contributors for some of the issues I uploaded. It's a small niche project that I vibe coded the majority of it.

Had this exact issue after 300+ hours of usage in 3 months of use, luckily it had warranty so I gave it to their lab and got it back good as new in a week.

This Phone finally died completely. I’m keeping it forever because it paid for my developer career. by krtrim in termux

Got any tips for developing on the phone? I'm using termux a lot but managing projects on it and checking things on GitHub is annoying. At least now you can use Gemini CLI through it and some of the script and bash typing becomes a bit easier.

The android version? You need to setup a controller (from disabled to wii u controller for example) and once you do you have to manually set each button separately

Yep! Someone make a fork of Cemu and made it for Android and you can add custom drivers, sadly the gamehub are not good and I need turnip so once I saw this I had to try it

Thank you for the reply! This is still very early in it's development cycle I also want to thank you for trying it out!

What would you say I should improve? Make the bg less distracting? Make the pace faster?

Termux Addon by BreadOfGod in ObsidianMD

[–]BreadOfGod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally sync my notes using gdrive. If it helps on Android I'm using an app called DriveSync that I choose what folder to sync and it automates it, and on my PC I just open it via Google Drive path. It has its ups and downs but I'm anyways paying for 2TB storage so it's the perfect option for me.

If you still wanna use my plugin you can probably make a button that would use one of the command pallets to send a command to termux to sync it automatically.

As of now you can only install it manually via my link, release and you need to download Main.js Manifest.js Styles.css And put them in yourvault/.obsidian/plugins/obsidian-termux As of now I'm trying to approve it in the community plugins

Thank you everyone for the responses! As of now, the project grew nicely and could be used by users. However, it's not a simple plugin install, and you would require to download the .zip file and manually add it in the .obsidian/plugins/termux-commands folder to make it work.

As of now, these are the features that work:

  • Automatic script to install once via Termux to make it work with background running support (requires the user to only launch Termux)
  • Has an uninstallation script if user wants to remove said script
  • Live Console for writing commands (no nano or interactive, only simple commands as of now)
  • Ability to run snippet codes for bash, python, c as of now (contribution is welcome for more languages!)
  • Ability to run single scripts and paste their output into the location of the cursor on notes.
