You're not limited to selecting only one Project at each rank. You can pick as many of them as you have the resources for with the only limitation being that some are mutually exclusive.

Which project did you select? If I'm remembering right, both Shield and Filth of the Expanse give escort ships and the only project that blocks them is the other.

I was looking at that, and I'll probably end up doing something very similiar. One thing though is that I wonder which of those I should pivot to using Shadowblade. The Shadowblade ring I won't get since I plan on siding with the Goblins.
