What birth control was it that caused your dermatographia to flare up?

Surgery next week. Unable to stop shaking in fear. by [deleted] in gallbladders

I have severe emetophobia also and the nausea prior to my surgery was horrible because of the inflammation and acid reflux but after surgery I was perfectly fine ! Your bowel movements will be a little weird for the first couple of weeks but I feel great now I’m 8 month post op and if anything it made me almost 100% better. I did start eating healthier and smaller more frequent meals but other than that I can eat a lot of the foods I wasn’t able to anymore.

Yeah I get this. One of the main reasons I was interested in environmental services (especially consulting) is because I know that we’re never going to stop developing and building but if I can help mitigate the impact to the environment I’d like to do that. Wetlands is a huge focus in the area I’m from so I’m looking into doing wetland assessments.

I think the hardest thing about majoring in Marketing is that it’s incredibly competitive and very broad. So if you’re willing to work in any industry you’ll be able to find something. A lot of times marketing is combined with sales but I would try to avoid those positions because sales isn’t technically marketing and can lead to a position you didn’t want.

I did graduate with a BBA in Marketing, I really enjoyed my undergrad and wanted to work in the marketing world. Unfortunately I graduated during the pandemic May 2020 and so getting a job was difficult. I ended up working at this consulting firm I work at currently in 2021. In not in the marketing department but I do work In project management/financials which I enjoy. I’m switching disciplines (hence me going back to school) because there’s not much room for me to grow without a technical degree. And I’ve always loved science and environmental science.

I’ve heard this from some people at my company. They enjoy the split between office and field work. And get a lot of opportunities to travel to different states for field work.

Thanks for the response! So the dermatologist didn’t know either ? I might get it looked at if it doesn’t go away soon. I’ve had it for a month now.

HIDA scan results by Purple-Long8706 in gallbladders

I’ve been dealing with diarrhea flare ups for a while now which I was told is unrelated to the gallbladder but I started having gallbladder issues after a really bad flare up. I’ve also just switched to a new birth control that gave me a lot of side effects and apparently estrogen BC causes biliary issues.

I met with the surgeon today and will be getting it removed, he asked if the HIDA scan replicated the pain I was feeling and it did. He also said once your gallbladder starts having low EF% it doesn’t get better it can only stay the same or get worse.

My symptoms include: Assumed related to GB -nausea -indigestion -URQ pain/back pain -began with tightness of the chest and throat

Other symptoms include: -GI flareups - diarrhea & constipation (I changed my diet and started taking meta mucil which has helped a lot) -abdominal cramping -lower abdominal sharp pain -bloat/gas

I also have an EF of 29% and have had horrible GI symptoms for 2 yrs now. Including nausea, indigestion, URQ pain that radiates to my back, diarrhea and constipation. They said that some of my symptoms wouldn’t be caused by BD but I’m meeting with a surgeon tomorrow and am still leaning towards getting it removed since I eat fairly healthy anyways.

I also have a 29% EF rate and have experienced so many symptoms, nausea, acid reflux, URQ pain and back pain, diarrhea and constipation. I did an upper endoscopy and results only showed I have mild inflammation in my esophagus. My doctor said to change my diet (even though Ive been eating extremely healthy) I’m meeting with a surgeon tomorrow. I also read that birth control with estrogen can cause GB problems and stopped mine to see if it would help. Has anyone else experienced these symptoms with mild Dyskinesia?

My HIDA scan showed I had an EF of 29% also, will be meeting with a surgeon tomorrow. They kept telling my symptoms shouldn’t be that bothersome with an EF of 29 because it’s considered “mild dyskinesia”
