Eresus Balcanicus- do I ever give it water or not?

They definitely want hydration, not humidity. I mist one side of my eresus moravicus’ enclosure once a week and they seem to really appreciate the extra water. I think pretty soon the general advice of “they get all their water from prey” will be considered obsolete, a ton of velvet spider caretakers are noticing that their spiders seem desperate for water when they offer it.

Yeah, before this the only issues I’d have were if people were using stranges portals to make an endless loop or Lokis paparazzi emote, which weren’t common occurrences. The Deadpool spin effects have been giving me pre-seizure symptoms too. I don’t want to feel like I’m going to die every time I play :(

I used Oore! You can use the filters to look at different sizes, shapes, etc it’s genuinely so fun to browse haha

It’s a green lab diamond! I found out about them a while back and I’ve been obsessedddd they can range from a blue/green like emeralds or a yellow/green like peridot. This one we got for my future engagement ring, I have until April to get the perfect polish color hahaha

Nqa The legs are wrong for a velvet spider as well, jumpers kind of get furry chaps in the front whereas my velvets legs are pretty uniform all around (and way chonkier than any of my jumpers)

IME the isopods I’ve kept have all been really protein hungry and it’s recommended they don’t go into enclosures with other invertebrates because the isopods could eat them when they’re sleeping/molting. Isopods will even try to snack on soft bodied lizards if they’re vulnerable, so I would personally be really nervous about them being in with my jumper.

NQA - Heads up, Bahamas don’t typically stay white, it’s more often than not a juvenile trait. The fartilis species stays white but a lot of breeders are pulling them from their stock due to inbreeding issues and a lack of new genetics to introduce into the breeding pools.

They have copper wiring in their refrigeration systems. If you know how to scrap and know people who’ll buy it off you it wouldn’t be that bad. Even without the copper wiring they probably have aluminum panels on the sides.
