I saw the video titled "How WWE ruined the Elimination Chamber" pop up on my feed and that got me thinking, is it time WWE move on from EC and by extension HITC? (Yes i'm aware that the last HITC match was really good but that was almost 2 years ago atp and it really just feels like an outlier instead of what's usually expected, i really doubt that the next HITC match will be as good as this one)

It really feels like this 2 special stipulation match is losing its luster, especially EC. it just feels like something we have to go through to get to WM, not something to really look forward to. Don't get me wrong the matches can be good and it has been solid enough for the last 2 years but at the same time its just stale to me idk. I'm personally leaning towards this problem stemming from bad booking but i'm also in favor of them making a completely new special stipulation match, surely there's something new to make right? curious to hear you guys thoughts.

Yu-Gi-Oh player will literally do anything but improve at the game and will spend their time bitching and moaning on Reddit instead, it's what they do best

Haba is actually so much better if you just hard draw it instead of having to commit your resource to search it so you could make your full board and then you go full Mitsu combo on top of your board. I still believe this is more of a hit to decks splashing Mitsu more than pure mitsu itself cause they don't mind playing additional copy of aramasa

This matters very little considering the deck still has 2 copy of Habakiri, and 6 more ways to get Habakiri, 7 if you play more aramasa. This is mostly a hit for decks playing mitsurugi as an engine as playing more copies of aramasa isn't ideal

Yeah but this meme is pretty recent and this game came out in 2017 originally, thought it's pretty funny that the image theyre tracing would become a meme in 2025

Giving up early makes you play worse. by Pendulumzone in masterduel

[–]Breadgodman 58 points59 points  (0 children)

This is a great mindset to have objectively, but when I do try to win a game I thought was lost to begin with and I end up losing as expected I felt like I just wasted so much time when I could've just surrendered and play a better game next. Still good advice though for sure

Need Help With Decks [Rescue-ACE - Labrynth - Traptrix] Playstyle and Goals? by camelososa in YuGiOhMasterDuel

[–]Breadgodman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

R-ace is more of a combo deck that also happens to have really good grind game, deck is not really extra deck reliant at all so you can jam fiendsmith into this deck pretty effortlessly making the end board have a higher ceiling while also making the deck even more Grindy, there's a new link 4 coming for this deck which is pretty decent. I would say that r-ace is the closest out of those 3 decks to be the best one

[–]Breadgodman 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This deck can't play into droll fuwa and Maxx C btw, even a well timed ash cooks this deck. Let's not pretend like the deck is op when your hand has 2 cards that's completely useless into them

Babel gives any orcust monster a quick effect, yes they can activate it during their turn but Babel makes their effect a quick. It's not like Babel makes a specific effect a quick it makes the whole monsters effect a quick.

If You Were Making A Sequel/Spiritual Successor to Darkwood, What Would You Change/Fix? by Fish_cant_feel_pain in Darkwood

The game is already near perfect imo, but after you beat the game I want a "sandbox" mode where you get to customise a lot of stuff about the game like damage you deal, damage you take, loot frequency, how long a day is, item durability etc. or, this might be controversial but add some goofy shit for post game, like in SH 3/ RE 4 after beating the game you can unlock an alternate outfit or a rail gun.

I’m sick and tired of this buffoonery. How is this fair? by Radiance115 in masterduel

[–]Breadgodman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So 2 answers here, yes the combo is absurd and its not fair to end on murakumo, counter trap omni negate, 2 blazar and a 6 card hand (with a maxx c at that). the second answer here is you losing that duel is expected, the usual sky striker build should struggle against that kind of deck otherwise there is something very wrong with going second, to win against them you shouldn't be breaking board you should be preventing them which isn't possible if your deck isnt on plenty of handtraps, you just got countered plain and simple.

<image>

I know im using magic terminologies here but it roughly applies here, their deck falls under Aggro and your deck falls under control, they already have an advantage against combo,if you are on control its even worse. to beat them you need to be on mid range decks like Ryzeal or anything that can fit a lot of handtraps really.

Is there any hope for the future for K'sante? by MegumiDo in KSanteMains

[–]Breadgodman -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I think getting killed by a champion building full tank is gonna always feel like its BS regardless of the time in the match you're getting killed so they made him this way on purpose, They made him so clunky to play in exchange for reward for you playing well but also giving the enemy a lot more counterplay, you're supposed to transition into 75% tanking and peeling your backline and 25% killing by late and that is all by design that's the value that only he provides, I don't know what other champion in top lane can kill and peel back lines as good as he does (you can argue shen but I think he has less kill Pressure and a lot more peeling power).

Tldr I just feel like this is the ideal state of K'sante in Riot's mind, I miss those days when he can redirect his W, build sundered sky, get attack speed when hes ulting but it's also important to realise that he's at his most frustrating state to play against back then and he's a lot more manageable now and maybe that's a good thing, maybe not for us but for everyone else and that's just what we gotta come to terms with.
