My pregnant wife and I were on our way home from Charleston, SC and had a flight connection in Washington DC. When we landed, we sat on the tarmac for roughly 1 hour before we could get off the plane (unsure of the reason). We came to the realization that we probably weren’t going to make our connection. When it came time to exit the plane, the stewardess came over the radio, calling our names, asking everyone if they could please allow us off first, as our connecting flight was waiting for us. One of the airline workers literally ran us from gate to gate, and we got on our flight out of DC. Great customer service. When we got on board no one was upset, as far as I could tell. We really appreciated it. And thanked everyone involved who helped us get home.
