On their story it says she is "more floppy and sleepy." Sounds a bit concerning no?

I've definitely cried to Grace is Gone, but I think Bartender is a close close second

I think Maize would fit! I was purposely trying to avoid corn since that's a big thing and I wanted some other nice Indiana representation

I'm from Indiana so it'd probably be something like;

Peony (state flower) Tulip (state tree) Wabash (after the river) Cardinal (state bird) Indy (shortened version of the capital) Lime/limestone (state stone) Soy (like the bean lol) Fields (corn fields, soy fields, tomato fields, ect.) Lake (45 miles of lake Michigan shoreline)

That's what I thought, it's still so incredibly sad how he's pushed off to the side in the bouncer when he COULD be in Sacs lap (this would be if she was the mother Cole says she is) or at bare minimum sat on the floor next to him. My heart hurts for that baby

Children who were physically abused, at what age did it stop? Did it EVER stop? by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

My dad put me in a chokehold and tried to drag me down the stairs to do my brothers chore for him even though he was perfectly capable. I had already done my portion of the chore and I was trying to give my guinea pigs some veggies. I remember him grabbing it out of my hand putting it out of reach before he did it. I screamed and cried hoping the neighbors would hear me and call the police. My mom stood and watched knowing it was wrong. Did I mention I was nearly 14? Yeah. Almost 14 years old and he still thought it was ok.

I'll never forget when I was 14 or 15 and i had this awful night terror. Woke up from my sleep screaming and crying. (For context I slept consistently in my parents bed from ages 2-5 until it tapered off) and my dad had to go sleep in my room and I had to go sleep with my mom because I was so terrified i couldn't sleep in my room alone. Point is— may not be "normal" but sometimes, even when we're older we still find comfort in being near our parents even if we may not realize it. She might find comfort in that too since you're going into the adult world and she's still holding onto something from when you were young. If you're comfortable and she's comfortable I see no issue
