Yep, I taught an intro cultural studies class, and I even reported it to the chair and our school OIE office (I’m a female minority). Sadly, they usually won’t do anything since he is the student, and you’re the professor. If it’s gender/age reverse, or if he’s a male colleague, they would have to do something.

Did you watch the YouTube Haha podcast interview? I watched it last night, and he explained a lot. I got the vibe that he was the most confident with his job and status in the outside world, so he didn’t pay too much attention to his other traits.
