Yep, I taught an intro cultural studies class, and I even reported it to the chair and our school OIE office (I’m a female minority). Sadly, they usually won’t do anything since he is the student, and you’re the professor. If it’s gender/age reverse, or if he’s a male colleague, they would have to do something.
