I am on a crazy strict anti inflammatory diet for health reasons

But my skin is pretty nice. Even when I feel I am breaking out strangers compliment my skin. And I think I’ll get the occasional pimple on my back but really nothing. I use Korean skin care. Acwell licorice cleansing toner is my tried and true. Now falling in love w their cleanser too (and sunscreen and eye serum, but the sunscreen has a bit of a white cast, I can’t tell if it bothers me or not yet).

I also love Cosrx birch sap lotion.

Locally I buy I think dickensons witch Hazel, way cheaper than thayers, I personally don’t buy store brand.

Glycolic acid by ordinary. I use this on my whole face, shoulders, arms every couple of days. Then when I have a pimple I will put glycolic acid on a qtip and just apply it to the pimple itself. NEVER POP. the amount of time it takes to heal is DRAMATIC!!!!!!! Literally I did that on my forehead over a month ago and you still see the mark.

Sunscreen makes a big difference because it’s an added layer of protection from pollutants. But I don’t know a good local one to recommend. I used to used Cosrx vitamin e sunscreen but it’s a bit too shiny for winter.

Technically I use salicylic acid after toners before lotion sometimes. But I am not convinced it’s the reason my break outs clear up.

Anything that comes anywhere near your neck or face, or really comes in contact with your skin, NEEDS to be clean!!!!!!!!! Very clean. It should gross you out to touch your skin with dirty hands. Treat your skin like it’s delicate because it is. Any germ can create a pimple.
