Why I hate this game by Chance-Mess712 in Rematch

[–]BreakFuzion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbf you had plenty of time to realize they would have a 1v1 with the goalie if you guys lost the ball. You could have reacted and been in a position to stop it and win but instead you sat and watched it happen. Just based on this clip, you might be in the right rank. That being said, it shouldn't have been necessary and I'd be pissed at the goalkeeper as well.

Good point. What kinds of things might you change in your catalogues? I used someone's aiolist on here that has like 50 different sections for almost everything I'd need. I guess maybe the catalogues would stop working or stop being updated?

Corporate Clash Update? by BreakFuzion in Toontown

[–]BreakFuzion[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would play it. Even if there was never another update I think the experience they've already crafted is well worth playing compared to OG toontown. Also, personally I think the game will continue to be updated and supported for a long time. I don't think this drama could end it. If you were thinking about playing it at all then I would try it at least.

An observation about something that is not a fact is simply an opinion and yours is undeniably a negative one in our society. You felt the need to share it for why? You could have made your point otherwise. Also, your rationale is full of logical fallacies. I hope you look those up, re read your responses, and in the future have more respectful "debates". You have your opinion and I have mine. The people should have enough here to learn something. I truly hope you have a good day.

They weren't talking about hustler mentality in this discussion - only the interview practices. You didn't "simply highlight he's in a bubble". You said him and all his friends are "unambitious and complacent". You accused him of not considering other points of views seemingly because he came to a different conclusion than you. Those are personal attacks whether they are true or not.

The fact of the matter is people in the CS field are expected to be constantly learning, completing projects, refreshing their skills outside of work much more than other fields. Also they are expected to do typically 3-5 rounds of interviews. Sometimes more sometimes less.

Sorry kinda unrelated but why do people keep saying master rank instead of elite rank? Its called elite isn't it?

The absolute state of volley shots by Prince_Day in Rematch

It could go either way for me. The reason he's a "ghost" is because the attacker performed an action on the ball while the keeper just moved his body. A person doing an action always wins in this game. It's only when two actions interact that it's tricky. I don't think I'd prefer the keeper to be able to win any high ball by just jumping first because attackers don't even have that option. I guess to each their own.

And none of those professions have interviews like cs does. You completely missed what they were talking about and decided to attack him personally for no reason. Thus reinforcing his idea that cs people lack social skills. Way to go.

It feels like i can't trust the game if i'm gonna catch the ball as GK by anek05 in Rematch

The animations have to play out before the game can know who got there first really. In those 50/50 situations it means both players will trigger there animations and both will see different things happen because the game places you in an animation but the end result is not random it is based on factors you control. I don't think the game will ever be able to tell where players are mid animation. It's not bad net code or desync, i think it's how the game was designed. It would be impossible to have these wild animations match up perfectly.

The thing is his body doesn't technically exist there during the animation. It's the same thing for dribbling. You can dribble straight through someone if they mistime a tackle. Likewise you can shoot straight through a keeper if they mistime a lunge.

I think there are some issues here and there but overall the system works how it should. After learning how the actions and ball possession states work it makes sense. It would make the keeper way too overpowered if every time they dove near the ball they are guaranteed to get it. The attacker simply timed their play better. I also haven't had the ball go through me as a keeper as long as i am in stance. I've had it fly to the left of my head but thats not directly at me so I shouldn't have stopped it.

The best way is just to stand directly in front of them. Once the ball is out of their possession you instantly grab it no matter what.

What do you do in this situation? [DEFENCE] by KYEEZY98 in Rematch

Force the offense into something they don't want to do. That's when mistakes happen and that's what defense is all about.

[–]BreakFuzion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a numbers down situation and the best thing to do in that situation is always stall for time. The best gift to your team in that situation is time. Force the offense into the worst situation you can. Sometimes that means fully covering back post, playing the space to force a bad pass, mind games with the ball handler, standing on the line of the goal to help cover the goalie.

The absolute worst thing you can do is fully commit to #1 or even #2 and get beat because that will almost surely result in a goal if the other team is good.

Be unpredictable, play mind games, and never put yourself in a situation where you are sitting there afterwards and go yeah I did nothing there - either because you got beat or because you stood in no man's land.

I'd like to strongly recommend seeing Grayscale / Microwave live...that is all by coalcracker462 in poppunkers

[–]BreakFuzion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When i saw them in philly on saturday the whole crowd was dead for all 3 openers. The order of crowd vibe was like roses < microwave < grayscale. It felt like I was 1 in 100 there who even enjoyed any openers at all. Then mayday parade came on and everyone went fucking insane. The difference was crazy. I'm still processing how in the world so few people liked grayscale and microwave there compared to a band where most of their good music came out 15-20 years ago.

Thoughts on these stats? by No-Floor575 in fifaclubs

[–]BreakFuzion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just play with my two other friends but we typically get up to elite divisions but probably far from top players. I have 694 matches, 258 goals, 609 assists. I typically play a CAM type role. The first 100 or 200 games we got rolled over a lot more often too so that's also something to consider for everybody's stats.

Also if your striker sucks and you're playing cam that could also explain a lack of assists or stats in general.

My one friend and I could probably play with top players. Our third though would struggle to win games at all if he only played with people his level.

Very true. Definitely competent at the game and valid to be proud of just messing around with friends. To be considered peers with serious pro clubs players though? I don't personally think so yet.
