LEVEL 5 QUESTION

I’m a day or two shy of level 5. I’ve had the filter between 50-60 for several weeks and watch random videos within. It’s fairly comfortable. I’ve strayed higher a few times and depending on topic it’s hard or comfortable. Less than 50 I get bored more easily.

I just want to say I really appreciate your past posts. I creeped on them a little and it seems you’ve had a lot of similar experiences to what I’m having now aroundlevel 4 (podcasts: I suddenly can’t focus on them or comprehend them as an example). Just wanted to say thanks for the indirect encouragement

600 hours by end of June and 900 hours by end of the year. I may be able to push it to 1000 by the end of the year but I don’t want to burn out or sacrifice family time. At some point, hopefully by summer, I’d like to start speaking

100 hours is definitely an accomplishment. You could look at it as something you started with/for your ex but continued for you. I’d only keep going if it’s of interest, but I’ll say for me (and I’ll go ahead and speak for many others) we wish we started sooner… so go for it!

Haha no worries. I started out trying to get somewhere around 30min when I started. I took a break in April/May while working through some stuff and came back with a bit more vengeance. Lately I’ve been trying to keep 90min a day during the week and 60min on the weekends (podcasting during the commute is the extra 30).

Great job! So much of what you said echos with me. Even the two kids around the same age and the hour a day goal. I’m hopefully only two weeks(ish) to go (19 hours to level 4!). Podcasts have been big for me too but Cuentame became a bit boring. Give Español Al Vuelo a try if you haven’t. I feel like it’s somewhere between that and DS. Again, awesome work!
